Tutor And Learn is a simple but yet powerful platform that allows you to host online courses in an easy way and invite students immediately.
Students can access their courses hosted on Tutor And Learn with their mobile devices now.
Students can also register a new account directly via the app or reset their password.
Courses can be divided into chapters to give a clear structure for each course. A course can hold up to 25 chapters with each chapter having 25 items of content which provide sufficient options to scale.
All functionality has been carried over from the web to perfectly fit the size of the devices students are using.
This means video content can be watched without any hassle being it self-produced videos uploaded to Tutor And Learn or even videos that are hosted on platforms like Youtube or Vimeo.
The app is also supporting audio files in the MP3 format for contents like a podcast to which you can upload a custom background as well.
Documents in PDF-Format can be viewed directly in the app or you can download documents in formats like PDF, Word, Excel, or Powerpoint directly to your device.
In the interactive chapters, students can also upload content directly from their devices being it PDF, video, or audio. Students are at any point in charge of their content to allow access for all other students in the course, update or delete content or customize the look in the overview by choosing color and icon.
Private chapters are similar to interactive chapters but only the student can access his uploaded content and the tutors of a course. This is ideal to submit and upload homework in a digital way and receive a review and rating by a tutor.
Exchange with other students about content is an essential task so that posting comments or questions also works directly from the app. The comment and question functionality can also be enabled or disabled per content item by either an administrator of a class or the content owner.
You can also adapt your settings for your account directly in the app.
The app currently supports only the learning part of Tutor And Learn to allow students to access their courses on this platform with their mobile devices. In order to administrate or create a course on the platform, you need to use the web application for the time being but works are on the way to integrate also the administrative part directly in the app.
