Welcome to Peak 2.0! Now with support for iPad, StandBy, interactive widgets, and more!
→ iPad
Peak is now available on iPad! Every part of the app has been updated to take full advantage of your iPad’s larger display, including support for Stage Manager, hover effects, and more. Running Peak on an iPad requires iPadOS 17 and above
→ StandBy and interactive widgets
All of Peak’s widgets have also been updated to support StandBy, so you can keep an eye on stats while your phone charges. On iOS 17, there is a new Widget Interactions setting that allows you to immediately refresh any widget with a tap, without ever needing to open the app
→ Nature themes
There are 7 beautiful new Nature themes included in this update: Tundra, Sea, Deep Sea, Meadow, Forest, Desert, and Coral. This takes the number of themes in the app to over 60!
Other changes:
→ Improved the formatting for workout durations
→ The widget refreshing infrastructure has been made much more robust
→ The Today homescreen widget has been updated to show many more metrics: Up to 7 metrics in the small size, and up to 12 in the medium size
→ When selecting a goal for a Goal widget, more information is now displayed to allow you to easily pick the right one
→ The lockscreen and small homescreen Totals widgets can now show up to 3 time periods, so you can view your total stats for the current week, month, and year from one widget
→ Totals widgets now omit repeated unit text, allowing for your stats to be shown without any shortening
→ The onboarding process now allows you to restore from a backup rather than having to set up anew
→ Backups can be exported outside the app from Settings > Backups, and you can also select a Backup from the Files app while restoring
