This game was too intriguing to pass up; I don’t regret it for a second! The graphics, artwork, and stories are all top notch. The voice actors portraying the characters provide a rich, auditory treat.
I hope the developers release an English version of it because it’ll broaden their reach and enable them to bring it to a greater number of players, but I’ll stay with this one. I do have to use a translation app to assist with the reading, and there are times when I get some confusing or downright hilarious translations. Fortunately, I understand a little Japanese, so I can figure it out. The more I read, the more I remember from my studies. At this rate, I’ll probably be able to read Japanese before I can speak it!
Another great thing about the game is that the characters are based on actual historical figures. Although the characters bear only passing resemblance to their historical counterparts, it sparked an interest in learning that history. I highly recommend this game to anyone who’s been thinking about trying it.
Some caveats for potential players:
1. You can absolutely play this game for free, but it requires patience... something today’s culture of instant gratification isn’t known for. You have to spend some time saving up log in bonuses and earning in-game currency. Compared to other games, it’s ridiculously easy to do in this one.
2. If you want premium route attire, you must spend premium currency, (pearls). The keyword here is WANT, not NEED. Please don’t give the game a negative review simply because you don’t want to pay for it. You don’t NEED premium attire to progress; normal attire is available for in-game currency (coins). Players have plenty of opportunities to win cute, premium attire for free. Save your money for more important things.
3. You’ll need to use pearls to pay for additional closet space. The game starts you off with a certain amount of closet space, but you’ll soon need more; there’s a free daily attire Gacha. Fortunately, this costs very little; if you’re frugal, you can pay for it with log in bonus pearls.
4. This game has a unique, (for Cybird), subscription service feature that’s billed to your iTunes account. For a little less than $4.50 USD per month, you receive extra log in bonuses of increased coins or other items to help you progress through the game. The longer you maintain your subscription, the larger the bonuses. It’s ABSOLUTELY worth every penny!
