The Zhiyum app is nothing like the one used on the tutorial. All the online materials are in mandarin none in English. My gimbal does not connect with my iPhone XS Max, therefore, the gimbal control does not work. I have to take the photos through my iPhone screen which defeats the purpose of this useless device. The app screen is vertical and does not change to landscape. Overall very disappointing. I should have purchased the SMOVEVIDEO!

***REVISED: Neither the tutorial not the instructions specify the correct app for your gimbal. The correct app for your Zhiyun Smooth 4 is the ZY PLAY. I'm happy now, that's the reason why I changed the rating from 1 star to 3.

This app worked OK on my iPhone 6 but when I recently upgraded to the latest iPhone, whenever I try to connect to my phone camera the app crashes. I would love to be able to use the app for face tracking but right now it is unusable.

The APP works great with iPhone X, I use it almost all time, What I don’t like is to have to use the app to work the button shutter! I would like sometimes to use native photo/video, even if only have the shutter button working.
For improvement of the Zhiyun app is to have a vertical mode, without having to change the phone at the gimbal.

After the update, the camera feature stops working resulting in the app crashing. The main reason you use the app in the first place! This needs fixed

I used the app for my gimbal to record a basketball camp. I would start recording and stop. Then start the next one. It never asked me if I wanted to save the video so I assumed it saved them. The videos I took are not where to be found. All day of videos gone.

When using the camera button in the app, the whole app crashes. This is the only feature I used as it allows the gimbal to follow your face. Ever since the latest update it stopped working. 1 Star.

Wooooow I buy a $300 weebill S and this is the app they provide? What a horrible disappointment. Poorly coded, poorly worded sections within the app, poorly designed, poor interface, poor instructions, poor English translation, poor connectivity. FAILFAIL FAIL FAIL,

After pairing/connecting my iPhone 6s Plus to the app I am unable to start recording using the physical button on the gimbal's handle.

This app does not work. Also full of grammatical errors
