FUN!
Giving 5 stars so ppl give this fun short gem a chance. Only trouble was at start. Figuring first button was ‘start’, I somehow ended up in a find/compare tap 3 differences scene n had to find them (EASY), before given more buttons. I managed to click actual start for escape.
Then, yes…tap thru the typical explain how to play screens in Japanese.
But, aside this minor pain…
THE REST OF THE IS NO PROBLEM.!!
NOT EVEN ONE CLUE/ANSWER RELIED ON MEMORIZING KANJI, ETC. SCRIPT! NONE!
U WILL NOT GET HALFWAY THRU, NOR WASTE TIME TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO, ONLY TO BE FORCED TO GIVE UP!!
I didn’t need hints, but DID jot notes. LOT of clues to memorize at once, giving only partial answer to puzzle, and finding rest as game progresses. N it’s not one that allows guessing/elimination puzzle before unlock area with that clue. But, I like escapes that aren’t one puzzle, answer, next clue, answer, etc but many going on at once.
I’m supposing not all the others by this dev will be playable without a language hindrance, as we can only be so fortunate, n always seems a devs older ones esp, end up with a frustrating impasse midway.
