One of the better baby apps
I was looking for something to get the attention of my four months old baby when he gets a bit fussy (and it's not food or diapers or the usual things I trouble shoot first), and he is quite mesmerized by it, quickly forgetting what bothered him. Of course I play it for him, but he does watch. I am sure he will like it even more when he can actually play with it himself, but in the meantime this is a great way to entertain him for a few minutes while introducing him to genuine instrument sounds.

I remember playing this app and I believe it’s a great application. So this increases boredom and laziness and that is a fun and realistic game to encourage kids to play the xylophone at all times

Refund for Previously Purchasing Perhaps?
I totally agree with the statement above me. This was my son's favorite app on my iPad until I recently tapped on it only to find out that I no longer had access to all the instruments that I purchased before. I will not purchase something again that I have already bought. I also noticed too, that the ads still appear even though it was bought. Now I noticed that you have to buy EACH individual instrument for 99 cent instead of all of them. Another thing that I miss is the previous colors. The xylophone colors are now too light. Everyone knows that young children learn best with primary colors: Red, Green, & Blue, like it was before. If it's not broke, don't fix it. I really miss the old one. =-(

123 Kids Music Lite
This app comes with a xylophone and drums with cymbals for free. They both are well designed and fun to use. When we first purchased the app it did have buttons asking you if you wanted to purchase additional instruments, which I wasn't thrilled with, but that was okay. However, in a recent update they included a new advertising bar at the bottom of the screen that goes directly to the cover of the latest Sports Illustrated swim suit issue. This is terribly inappropriate and should not be allowed in a young child's app. It is also a terrible way to get you to spend a small amount to just buy the full version. Don't buy the lite version!

You have to buy the paid version or you will keep getting the ads. My daughter loves the xylophone & the drums the best. She also likes the string instruments. There should be an option to make the string & horns more interactive because my daughter still plays this but she is starting to pick other games when she gets bored with this one.

Fun but won't update, open, or anything
My 2 year old grandson loved this little app, until one day it said to update. It stopped and froze up just that during the update. To make matters worse, it always showed up as waiting to download, which it wasn't, and I couldn't even delete it or update it or anything. Now it is not in my apps, but in my purchased apps it shows it is. If I try to go to it I only get the option to open it, which I cannot do since it suddenly disappeared one day.. So now my grandson always asks to play it, and I don't have a clue what to do..... Anyone???? Any suggestions!!????

Took some time but
Downloaded for my grandson who was 28 months at the time. He was not interested at first but tried again 2 months later. Now at 2 1/2, he doesn't even want to stop playing long enough for me to type this review. Have had no technical issues whatsoever. Definitely 5 stars!

My child loves this App
My baby is 3 and he is very musical inclined. I put this app in my phone to keep him occupied while I need him to sit still at places like the doctors office, grocery shopping, while I'm trying to clean etc and he loves this and he thinks he can play any instrument through the introduction of them through this app so...thanks!
