liligirl111,
Great game - though a bit short
This is a great logic game - and a beautiful game at that. If you are a fan of the room and da vinci then you you will enjoy this free game. There are two puzzles in the third level that are frustrating and may be deserving of a skip (if you are impatient like me) but the rest of the game are purely logic based so do not abandon due to the two puzzles. I had no problem spending $1.99 for a few hints. (There was a spot in the second level where the game was not responding when I was trying to place something in the right place and I used a hint). I don’t usually give reviews but I love escape/logic games and was thrilled to find this one. This deserves a 4 and half stars based on the puzzles, graphics, and it is so much better than any game that I have played in a long long time.
RAFeik,
Pretty good so far.
Just finished the first two levels I think and it’s been entertaining. Not horribly difficult but helps pass the time. A couple puzzles had me stumped for a bit but they were solved eventually without restoring to hints. It’s well done with the graphics so we’ll see how it goes from here.

Well I think I’ve complete the game but not sure at this point. There were a few places where I had absolutely no idea what the object of the puzzle was. At one point I believe I hit the “hint” button and it solved the puzzle for me, but I had no idea how it was supposed to go. The puzzle with the siege tower was baffling in that the tower wouldn’t always turn the way you wanted and you’d get shot and have to start over. Not sure if this was a glitch or a design element, but it was extremely frustrating. Almost gave up at that point.

It’s a graphically excellent game and challenging play, but as I said before, I have no idea if I’ve actually completed the game. After the last puzzle, the character moved toward the idol and it went to black. No other activity.
Fuzhed,
Not bad … but
A few nit picks … animation sequences were really slow (e.g. things rising after completing a puzzle). Puzzles were not too difficult, however sometimes difficult to discern mechanics. One puzzle I figured out that pieces could move in and out from a circle. However it was impossible to figure out what to do with that information. Finally, after some pixel hunting, discovered there was a button in the middle of the circle. Some puzzles were wide and required to see both sides, however one side was partially covered by toolbox on right side of screen. As usual with these types of games, sometimes the screen swiping gets confused with object manipulation. Finally, you have to approach objects EXACTLY the way they want you to. In one room, I knew I had to place a bell on a building away from a table. I could see the building from several views, but I could not zoom in. Finally discovered I had to pinch all the way out and then zoom in from a certain angle. All in all a good game, even with those minor flaws … and it’s FREE!
Biatrix Devita,
Beautiful but too easy and animations are WAY too slow
There is a lot of good stuff about this game. It is a really cool concept and it is definitely beautiful aesthetically but the bad things are sort of deal breakers. It’s really easy. Most of the “puzzles” aren’t really puzzles. It’s just a series of obvious steps you have to take which makes it boring. You’ll definitely never get stuck if that’s what you’re into. Ant the parts where you’re just watching things move into place go WAY too slow. It’s like trying to watch a sloth climb a tree without giving up and walking away. It probably took me an hour to play from start to finish and half of that was just watching things move into place. And I definitely didn’t need any hints. My message to the creators is that the basic structure, concept and look of the game is really cool. If you just make the puzzles more difficult and speed up the animations, the game would be great.
Puzzlin Steve,
Good puzzles but a lot of interface flaws
I enjoyed the puzzles in this game. They were clear and logical, with a few extra challenging ones. Probably the best game in terms of puzzles of any Room/Da Vinci knockoff I’ve played.

But there were several annoying aspects of the interface:

- No way to pay to turn off ads. I’m willing to give you money to not waste my time with annoying ads. Why won’t you take it?

- A lot of extremely slow unskippable animations and cut scenes. I guess I’ll put my iPad down and make a sandwich while a statue moves on a track and castle walls rise one by one for the next five minutes.

- No way to turn the sound off. There’s a sound off button, but it doesn’t work.

- The levels/chapters are different buildings, but the buildings look the same and aren’t in the same order as the levels. So when you open up the game you have to remember or guess which building to select to find where you left off.

- After I completed several puzzles in the sixth building, a statue moved to a door where there was a bigger statue, and then the game just ended. I’m still not sure if that was the end of the game or if it crashed. But no new buildings opened up, and when I went back to that building it had reset, so I guess there’s nothing else to do.

It’s a shame, because I liked the puzzles, but kept getting irritated by all this other stuff.
jplonghorn,
Great graphics, slow cut scenes, no end sequence
This is a great game to pass some time, beautiful graphics. Puzzles were relatively easy, not too easy to be boring, but not super challenging. The only frustrations were that the cut scenes were very slow, for example, when you finished a challenge, you had to wait and watch a sequence of things like towers expanding or walls building, and those were slow. Not really a problem because still enjoyable. The frustrating thing was at the culmination of the game, there was no end sequence. I actually thought it crashed so I started the last chapter over, only to see the same thing. Just after puzzle, you see a little movement and then you’re back to the main menu. I would suggest to the developers to add a simple and exciting sequence at the end to indicate you have completed the game successfully.
Grant Fowler,
A very pleasant suprise.
I’m a big fan of 3D puzzle boxes like The Room series and while this game doesn’t have much in regards to story like The Room. It is beautifully designed and you can tell the developers put a lot of love into it. I have tried so many free games while waiting for fireproof games to release another game and all so far have either been a disappointment or only let you solve one puzzle before making you spend money which in this economy I don’t have. This game only charges for hints which I discourage anyway as it takes the fun away. I am so glad that I’m the mix of garbage games with false advertising and supposed puzzle games that are really just match 3 games that I found a genuine game that doesn’t try to scam you.
Ppolyxenes,
Beautiful, but easy
This game had great graphics, but it’s easy enough to do in an afternoon. There aren’t many puzzle types - probably 4
Or 5 or so, and then they are the same. It would be a great introduction to escape rooms. Other than that, it can be a little glitchy - when using an item out of storage it is sometimes not recognized by it’s destination. There were a couple I knew were correct and finally gave up and used a hint, which put it exactly where I had been trying to put it. I also couldn’t figure out how to save a room, and had to start each one over when I went back to the game - a royal pain if you are almost done with that room. Don’t get me wrong - it is a very enjoyable way to pass some time, and I’m glad I got it. Hopefully the developers will fix these glitches soon!
half-halt,
Well done!
Beautiful graphics. Game play varied but not too difficult. Tricky so really look carefully at times to see the solution is closer than you think… or the patterns show and make the challenges less impossible. You do have to slow down, the graphics have to play out and the scenes are carefully rearranging. So not for those who want to barge through quickly. This is a visual as well as unique puzzle game. Love the 3-d surround effects. Similar to another series, and this is a lovely alternate. Would love to see more from these gamers. And more and longer rooms to solve. I am playing on an iPad Pro (2019) and have had no issues at all. Flows well. Well done!
LAMom@Tunes,
Good Graphics
I compared this to games like Da Vinci. It has good graphics, some nice design elements, and interesting mini-games but it’s not as clever or original as similar games. It doesn’t feel as exciting as the others but on the other hand it’s more relaxing. It has some flaws that spoiled it for me but other players may not be bothered by them. For example, it’s way too short, much shorter than similar apps. After playing a “ level” (which is one location) nothing indicates that you’ve completed it. In order to check and see if you’ve already played that location, you have to watch a long boring (yawn) ad. The number of ads isn’t too bad but the length is excessive. I liked it but wasn’t thrilled.
