Cool if…
This is really cool if I can get it to work with the latest IOS 15. Could you please update the app? It worked until I updated my phone IOS.

Doesn’t keep recordings! Beware!
The synch issue is bad enough, but ultimately fixable on the back end. My biggest issue with this app is that I keep losing the entire recording. For no reason. I can check it throughout the event and ensure it’s running, but after you finish recording, if it’s a video of any substantial length (longer than maybe 15 minutes) it will get stuck, apparently, while processing the video, and not finish it. And then I lose the entire recording! Plenty of space left on the tablet (a 2018, up-to-date iPad), and functional for short videos, yet with no warning it will take forever to process and then just give a quick error message and... bye bye. Using this with the (low quality, overpriced) GoMixerPro, also from Roland, I’ve now lost 1 band rehearsal and 1 live performance! I’m at a loss for any explanation. The videos are simply gone, and not coming back. Could’ve used the basic (stock) camera app on the tablet, and will going forward, because this app is getting deleted and doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Thanks Roland! I always liked the company but recently they’ve put out some alarmingly low quality products with their name attached and it’s tough to know which ones might be decent ‘Roland’ and which ones don’t deserve to be under the same banner.

What a great little fun app!
Occasionally I get out my multitrack recorder and wrestle with it a day or two before getting frustrated by the complexity and sticking it back in the basement.
With this little app I made a 4 track version of In My Room (1 guitar, 3 vocals) in 20 minutes!
If you want to make a sophisticated multitrack production, this is not for you. But if you want to have fun and put together a song in minutes instead of hours, check this out- I love it!

Absolute TRASH
I’ve been using this app for about 45 minutes, and I already hate it. It says if you connect a Go Mixer Pro X, you get the upgrade for free. Well, enjoy my $3.99, but that’s a lie. Plus this garbage app doesn’t have an input level mixer. Recorded a couple test videos at what I thought was a reasonable level (since the peak light on the mixer wasn’t flickering), but when I played it back, it distorted beyond recognition. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I wish I could give it negative stars. I also wish I could get my money back for the “free” upgrade.

Missing Essential Feature
I purchased this app to use without the Go:Mixer Pro in hopes for a simple solution to make split screen recordings. 4XCAMERA works and you can make a split screen multitrack recording. However, it is missing one feature that would take the app to the next level. I hope Roland considers adding a metronome feature in a future release. Adding a metronome that could be heard through headphones without being recorded would be tremendously useful.

Sorry Roland. I’ve loved your products for years. I need an app to do split screen video...I even paid for it! And it wont sync my videos....I spend 45 mins trying to sync two videos....not going to keep trying to do this. It’s ridiculous. If I hit record in the app the timing should be perfect. Also, if you’re going to make people sync video by hand at least let us see time index and sound wave graphics in the trim section for gods sake! Uninstalled...fix it so that it syncs intuitively and I’ll restore my purchase. :(

Won’t Sync and cannot Edit
The whole purpose of this app is to be able to play/sing with yourself or others. This absolutely does not sync properly and there is no way to edit it or shift it to allow the videos to line up.
Cannot seem to find help from Roland. 😞 It would be nice to get some assistance or just listen to your customers and fix the issue. I did pay for the upgrade after all. Waste.

Update this app!
Needs a bug fix. After doing several takes and compiling into 3 or 4 screen the audio goes out of sync with the other takes and basically your project is now trash because it affects all the subsequent takes. FIX IT!

False advertising
Don’t buy the Go Mixer Pro thinking you can get this app and make split screen overdubbed videos. You can’t. Mixer is okay but the app is junk. It will not put audio of the first video back through the headphones so you can hear to do the overdub. Roland is no help at all. A tech finally told me yep that’s a problem.

Absolutely useless
Garbage. Sync adjustments seem to do absolutely nothing. No matter where I put the timing sliders nothing changes. Good luck finding tutorials or support from Roland (or anywhere else for that matter!) Useless without being able to sync the videos. I threw $4 away and I freakin want it BACK!
