awkward, difficult
The intention is wonderful, it seems. The project is worthwhile and overdue.
The app and the website do not flow. They are frustrating, non-intuitive, and glitchy. They both give me a headache.
This app needs to be rebuilt in order to facilitate mass adoption—which, after all, is the goal.

Bike Registration Made Easy
Registering my bike with the new 529 Garage app was so easy. In about 5 mins the app helps you capture important details like serial number and pictures of the bike. I hope I never have to use it but the stolen alert feature notifies other users in your local area to be on the lookout for your bike. Police can’t identify owners of stolen bikes when they are recovered — unless the bike is registered. The only personal information required to register was my email address.

Appears to forget serial number
I added my serial number, saved, and saw a confirmation message. Check back, no serial number. I’ve tried twice, same result. After refreshing, the serial number is there, so I think it’s a UI bug and not a a functional fail.

Simply doesn’t work
Please fix the app. Anytime I click on anything in the app it crashes. I can view my garage, but as soon as I select my bike, it crashes. Try to edit my bike, it crashes. Amazingly buggy

Doesn’t work
Attempted to register using the app several times and failed on each occasion. Won’t sync nor will it save my bike’s data, so don’t really see the point. Allegedly developed by a MS engineer, for whatever that is worth…

Recovered my bike then sold but can’t report recovered
Every time I try to report recovered it crashes still showing that it’s stolen so smh can’t believe the local PD recommend we register our bike here 🤦♂️

Bike Data Missing
When I upgraded to the 2021 app, my bikes & photos disappeared from “your garage.” Attempt to synchronize with website also failed.
