Sound cuts out for about 2-5 seconds on a consistent basis. (It cut out three times as I was writing this review. Make that 4 times.

I’m been a a radio listener for a long time, and it’s obvious that app developers have not figured out how to write a radio app that works well. Every station that I listen to has the same issues. They constantly cut out and you miss important parts of conversations. It seems that they are unable to seamlessly operate when the input changes such as from WIFI to cellular and vise versa. Sometimes they quit completely and need to be relaunched. This becomes unworkable when running, biking, driving, etc. Also, when they say they’re “buffering” they’re not, because they don’t pickup where they left off. Music apps like Pandora do not have any of these issues. I’ve stopped listening via radio apps; too frustrating.

This app is getting worse and worse. The keeps cutting out for several seconds every few minutes. It’s been doing this for months. I’ve tried to notify them and others have made the same complaint, but nothing is done. Why? It’s really irritating so I turn it off. When I’m turning I’m not listening to radio shows and your advertisers are wasting their money for people who because the app doesn’t work well.

Now I don’t have to miss any of the GREAT Mark Davis !! I have had no problems with this app. It works great !!

Loads quickly, great sound quality, and some extra features make this a great app.

You can listen live to the broadcasts in two ways with this app. Either as the app is running, or they give you the option to load an address in Safari, to run in the background. Quite an interesting way to "multitask" even before the iOS4 update came out. Running in the background via Safari is great, since you can then check email, or play a game, as still have the app running. However, it hijacks your Safari browser, so it is not without limitation.

Overall, 4 out of 5 stars. I'll revise to 5 stars when it has the full iOS4 background functionality.

Where are my podcasts? Now I have to listen they the website and keep it open??!

Disconnects frequently. Kludgy confused interface. Ads galore. The entire interface needs to be redesigned- an embarrassment.

Horrible app- quite honestly the worst I've ever downloaded, and that's saying a lot. It worked for about a week, but would stop playing after a few minutes. Then about a week later it wouldn't connect and say, "no network connection, try again" or it would appear to connect but nothing would play. I've deleted and reinstalled a couple of times, but it still doesn't work.

Don't waste your time- it's crap.
