It’s just a calculator
This is essentially just a calculator. It does not save scores from game to game or provide any instructions on how to score. It’s literally just an electronic version of the piece of paper that comes with the game. The only benefit is that it adds up the score for each player. It’s not worthwhile to buy.

Does the job
Me and my husband are both obsessed with this game and we used the whole scorebook. Couldn’t find one on amazon, so glad there was an app that does exactly that.
I’ve got a suggestion: it would be awesome to be able to save the game and return back to it. Maybe, there could be an option to click “wins: 4”, which opens up a calendar with saved games (marked differently for wins and losses), so when you click on a date it shows you a score page.
Another suggestion I have is to be able to manually edit “wins”. I accidentally clicked on a “military/science” sign and it added a win to the score, which I could fix by only resetting.
