How to play:
Navigate the ship around the screen by pressing the virtual buttons and blow up the space rocks flying around. Level one starts off with only a few asteroids. As you complete each level more and more asteroids will appear making the game even more challenging.

Machine Gun
Wrapping Bullets
Freeze Rocks
Button R1 : Ship Thrust
Button A : Shoot
Button B: Shields
D-Pad Left & D-Pad Right buttons : Rotate Ship accordingly.
If you don't like the positions of the buttons on the screen you can place them anywhere you'd like. To move a button click the Options menu item on the home screen and then touch and drag the button you want to move.

Fun, classic style and difficult.
Nice version of the classic game that ends with "oids".... this game, at least for me, is tough. Not easy, which is good as it will challenge you.
To get five (5) stars ***** I'd prefer another type of control: 1- rotate left/right - slide finger at bottom of the screen, 2- for A, B, C I'd place the buttons on the the corners to space them out leaving firing at the bottom right corner and thrust at the upper right corner.. C, I haven't gotten to that part... controls are tough.

I am so mad at myself, I really enjoyed playing this game but I couldn't stand the obnoxious and debilitating ads anymore so, I paid for the "ad free" version. There is no ad free version, yup, the ads are still there. I feel like I've been robbed.

It's no good
So I love the classic game asteroids and it costed money so I found this and it's just no good I mean its timer is not synced by that I mean the asteroids are to fast and the middles are to slow so DONT DOWNLOAD IT!

Good game
The game's awesome! Ya, the controls take a minute to get use to as they a little awkword, but live with it, it's a great game once you're beyond this. Some room for improvement, a level option would be nice, but the game's great overall. I found this game when it was not yet ranked, and I think it should be one of the top 5 because its pretty fun, right up there with darts and jelly car. No idea why its only 2.5 stars!

Really Good, but hard to control
Sort of like Black Mamba Racer, it's hard to control and you don't know where you're going. If you don't thust your ship, the meteor thingies move faster than you and you get hit. Not worth buying the full version since the two are the exact same, and the real version doesn't have a lot of additional levels from what is expected for 1.99...

People are crazy !
Just give it a couple seconds to go to the advertisement screen before you try to play. I've had no problems at all with crashing and I love this game. It plays great and is lots of fun. I love retro games when they are well executed and this one is as good as it gets. You too are crazy if U don't get this app while it's free.

Worth the space!!
This app is fun, functional, and worth the space on your iPhone!!!! Has a bit of a learning curve for novice skeptics.. But no worries, try working on a fast firing speed and left/right button maneuvering.. And you've got it!!

Grate game good grafics. It might seem weird and dumb at first (the controls) but there fully costimizible. Would be cool if you could use the acceliromiter to turn and prohaps boost. Needs more power ups. A little more work and this game could sell for 1.99 so get it while it's free

Love it!!!
I was really missing the good old Atari Asteroids. This game really captures the try essence of the game. The graphics have been kept simple and the gameplay is spot-on with the original Asteroids. I don't play games much, but I am pretty addicted to this! Thanks!!
