American Family Radio is a listener supported broadcast ministry of the American Family Association. AFR exists to be a voice for AFA to help motivate and equip individuals to restore American culture to its moral foundations. AFR does this in a variety of ways with both its music/teaching format as well as its Christian Conservative Talk format. AFR is not xenophobic as we are a platform for other ministry partners such as James Dobson's Family Talk, Tony Perkins and Washington Watch or David Jeremiah's Turning Point.
AFR understands that politics and polices alone will not change America. It will take an intervention of Christ and our hearts turned back to Him. AFR hopes to educate our listeners with news and issues of the day but more importantly convey the Truth of Christ through clear presentations of the Gospel.

All day listener!
I discovered AFR talk radio about two years ago, by accident in the car one day while turning the radio. I have been listening to AFR since. I absolutely enjoy the different hosts who come on throughout the day. I listen while taking care of housework, driving, etc. I have a Google Nest at home, so I just ask Google to play AFR talk radio and it’s tuned in all day! I have also downloaded the app so I can take it with me on my travels and listen. I have not only been educated by Dan, learned Trivia from Tim, and brought to my knees for prayer by Alex and so many other great preachers and teachers of the gospel on AFR. I no longer am tuned into music all day, I listen to some of the best speakers this world has to offer! I am so much closer to God having listened to this show faithfully for the past two years. I tell everyone I know about AFR.

AFR app
I used to jam out to a lot of rock and soundtracks, but now, ever since downloading this AFR app, it has become what I constantly listen to.
Often times the program may drop off, it’s annoying, but that’s really the only complaint I have. I believe that they speak a lot of biblically and universal truths on a facet of their shows. It’s definitely refreshing to hear when compared to other news media outlets. Jesus rocks!

Ok app, if you can get to play music
App is just ok. Doesn’t seem to work as other podcast/music apps, must always be open and controlled inside the app. My big problem is that even if you select “AFR music” many times it will NOT play music! It instead only plays the talk radio, which I do not want to hear at that time. The screen shows a song is playing, but all you get is talk. It has been this way for years. App NEVER seems to improve. Wish they would put at least a little effort into making this app better. Disappointed.

You want truth? Answers about scripture? Online family reunions? Check out Airing The Addisons & Abraham Hamilton lll. They bravely take on social issues using biblical references & other reliable resources, as well as offer honest opinions for the day. It’s sometimes uncomfortable to hear topics that jar you, but listening feels like you’re hanging out with friends. Reality at its finest.

There’s a problem with your App
I downloaded your app but when I try to open it the app doesn’t want to open to access the content. I’m not having the problem with my other apps, so the problem is strictly with your app. Please take care of this problem because I really enjoy your ministry and I really like AFR. What ever you can do would be greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much and God Bless all of you.

2018, And it still won’t stay connected. Audio continues for 5-10 seconds before dropping to buffer. I would love to listen, but after 2 days of the same exact feed issues, I will, again, be deleting this app. I just wish the podcasts were updated in a timely manner. ☹️
I used to live this app, but now it seems to only connect about 20% of the time. I miss my AFR... And the AFR Talk is no more reliable... :(

Love American Family Radio!!
They really are doing God’s Work! I’m able to catch those shows I like that I might miss during the day, so being able to hear previous shows is great! God Bless you all!

Wow!! I REALLY like the new format of this wonderful app!! It's extremely user-friendly, and the easy access I now have to programs I may have missed earlier in the day is definitely a bonus.
