Explore the world with your friends! This update lets your share your location with your friends, and you see if friends and family members are hanging out together and where they are right now!
- You will now get a push message if someone is asking to friend you.
- We’ve tweaked the text input colour for your chat messages
- You can see when your friends are online and active!
- Also, keep an eye on the different sneakers and apparel, both in the store and in your Backpack; some of them might have a new experience on them :)

You'll notice upgrades to the avatar and the "Wear" screen is now "Me"
Sneakerheads, don't worry - you can still get to your favourite kicks! They are not going away - we have just given you the extra power to collect and flex your whole capsule.
A few other things:
- Your shoe condition showing 99% when its not been worn at all is fixed :)
- We have fixed a few bugs with our Aglet Chat
- A number of other bugs were fumigated.

- Apparel in the Shop! Yes, as we head into 2023, the Year of the Avatar for Aglet, we are releasing the next set of collectibles; apparel for your avatar! Like sneakers, you will be able to cop apparel in the shop as collectible, numbered items that have different scarcity. There's a bigger plan in play with all of this, so we recommend getting in early and copping the OG drops! Wink, wink.
- Localization! This release has support for Japanese in the app! More languages to follow, but if you have your phone set to Japanese, you will now be able to see Aglet in Japanese. If you see any weird translations or words, please let our support team know!
- Pull to refresh in the Shop! Yes, we know sometimes drops take a while to show up, so we now let you pull down on the Shop list to force a refresh. This should let you get the drop faster if it has not yet synced to your device.
- NFT sneakers can now be added to the Profile Shelf behind your avatar. A much requested fix has now been done. Flex those rare items!
- We've added a link to our Leaderboards from the menu. Check out where you rank!

If you're lucky enough to be reading this before we do the drop, GOOD LUCK - it's going to be hard to get one of the OG sneakers! If you missed out, don't worry, we have a LOT more IRL coming down the line.
When you hit the shop and try to cop an IRL, you will notice a slightly different way of purchasing and it does not involve Regular Aglet (RA) or Gold Aglet (GA) - it'll be more like what you might do on Shopify or other sneaker apps, so don't freak out when you see this! You'll also possibly get a digital twin NFT with your IRL purchase, so watch out for the drops!

OK, so we have not been idle. Yeah, it’s been a minute since we dropped the last release, and by now you’ve tried 5000 combinations of your Profile Shelf, but while you’ve been flexing your ultimate Shelf, we have been making some BIG changes under the hood. Today marks a new chapter in Aglet:
- The Explore screen has had an upgrade and it’s now the default game view.
- Your avatar is finally on the map! Begone the little blue dot, your exploration and adventure are now avatar-driven.
- You might have noticed that the treasure stashes and repair stations around you move regularly and change. Hello, new map gameplay! Check your map each day to see the new stashes around you; your Aglet world changes regularly now and there are some BIG rewards to be found. Hint: 100,000 Regular Aglet stashes are out there, waiting...
We have one more announcement with this release: Aglet has partnered with Immutable to bring Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) into the Aglet ecosystem. This means that some (but definitely not all) drops will be actual NFTs. In the coming months, you will be able to sell and trade NFTs in Aglet.
We have big plans for this, but rest assured that Aglet is not just about NFTs. The game you know and love will remain awesome, and we will carefully start to introduce NFTs as a meaningful part of the gameplay. This release marks our ability to support NFTs backed by Immutable. There will be more news from us on our NFT roadmap, so watch our channels!

- The Explore screen has had an upgrade and it’s now the default game view.
- Your avatar is finally on the map! Begone the little blue dot, your exploration and adventure are now avatar-driven.
- You might have noticed that the treasure stashes and repair stations around you move regularly and change. Hello, new map gameplay! Check your map each day to see the new stashes around you; your Aglet world changes regularly now and there are some BIG rewards to be found. Hint: 100,000 Regular Aglet stashes are out there, waiting...
We have one more announcement with this release: Aglet has partnered with Immutable to bring Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) into the Aglet ecosystem. This means that some (but definitely not all) drops will be actual NFTs. In the coming months, you will be able to sell and trade NFTs in Aglet.
We have big plans for this, but rest assured that Aglet is not just about NFTs. The game you know and love will remain awesome, and we will carefully start to introduce NFTs as a meaningful part of the gameplay. This release marks our ability to support NFTs backed by Immutable. There will be more news from us on our NFT roadmap, so watch our channels!

Your Room, your Shelf! Time to customise!
It would be sick to display your grails, right? Well, now you can! Head to your Profile and edit your Avatar. You can showcase and position your sneakers on the shelf in your Room, and change the floor and wallpaper to add your personal style!
If you’re new to the game, enjoy setting up your avatar as a part of your experience.
We have added skirts and jackets to your wardrobe, and now you can compare your current avatar to your new selection before you save it.

Yes, this version of Aglet includes the initial (and we mean initial - there is a LOT more to come here) of our avatar system! What does this mean? It means that you can now create your own Aglet avatar, mixing and match the expressions, clothing and sneakers that are in Aglet.
To get your started, we have put a few things in your wardrobe you can select from to create your digital self. Access the avatar via your Profile (the button on the bottom left of the main screen) and get mix'n 'n matching to make the perfect you. This is just the start! It's a version 1; expect a LOT more to come with your avatar. Totally new styles, apparel drops etc - we have really big plans for our avatars, so strap in and start your ride with this release.

I like this game but I think there are some things that could be improved. First of all, repairs. I just don’t like the idea of not being able to use my shoes after I while. I’m fine with the condition decreasing and stuff but I wish I could always repair them. Some of my favorite shoes I can no longer wear because I don’t have anymore repairs. Also I wish there was an easier way to get gold Aglet, I understand it’s the app trying to make money, but maybe if you could exchange regular Aglet for gold Aglet it would help. Finally, I think seeing a more consistent reward path would be cool. When you first start the game you get a lot of shoes from the milestones. You get shoes like every 5k steps, but after a while it takes along time to get rewards. Implementing a more consistent reward path would keep the game fresh and make people more motivated to play. For example, maybe every 5k steps you get a bronze box, you could get some tier 5 or 4 shoes, or some power ups or clothes, every 10k a silver box, maybe tier 4 or 3 shoes, 25k a gold box, tier 3 or 2 shoes, and every 50k a platinum or diamond box with tier 2 or 1 shoes. Overall I like this game but some improvements could be made.

There barely any stops in my city I barley have 6 and 3 of them are up in the hills, and all of the cities with the rest are all a good 30+ minutes of driving, away from my city, Redwood City.
Also I get that you are trying to make money off the app but you should try to find a way for players to earn Gold Aglet and maybe make it so you can earn normal Aglet faster because when new shoes get dropped, you have to have the funds and can’t wait to earn them because by then they’re sold out.
Maybe you guys could do ad revenue which players can watch an ad in exchange for ** amount of aglet. Or another feature could be once a player reaches ** amount of normal aglet, they can exchange that for gold aglet

Games decent I’m a sneaker head so I dove at this game when I saw it, although I find myself fighting with the app more than I do playing it so I just uninstalled. I’m giving it a 3 star cause overall I liked the game, the collections, the themed sneakers etc. what I couldn’t stand was the app unable to keep up with recent cops. For example the new drop the sweet leaf for 10,600 I bought it said I coped it just to wait for it to be delivered. But then I got a message saying it sold out before they delivered the pair??? That makes no sense if I bought it then it wasn’t sold out lol ontop of that headache ( happened more than a few times and customer service is great they got back to me asap but said that traffic gets too high and they can’t keep up basically) so I don’t want to keep up with an app that needs work. Hoping they update and fix a lot of issues that continue to happen on my iPhone 13. Keep it up I hope the game grows I love the idea, hoping you guys add more brands down the road too, puma, Jordan, Nike I assume due to copyrights. it’s not a perma uninstall just rather not put my time into it if I can’t get what I’m buying in the game, if it was a one time thing whatever but this happened to me 4 times now and I’m over it.

I like the this game. Overall it is an experience for sneaker-heads to enjoy. There are a few problems with the app though. For example, when going to sneaker box, repair, and deadstock locations it often glitches. After I pass the location it goes back to being smooth. It also glitches and randomly closes the app frequently. Another thing that isn’t a technical problem but more of a suggestion. The app should add a feature that allows people to make private purchases. Also another feature where you can auction shoes for people who aren’t sure what price they want for their shoes. Overall great game minor glitches.

So first off I think this app is great and all but they should add Nike to the game. But the thing is my brother somehow got Air Force ones in the game and apparently you can’t sell them so I was confused. But anyway I think they should add it were you can earn gold Aglet for getting a certain amount of gold Aglet from a certain amount of steps a day. The first time I saw a ad about this game was on tik tok and I thought maybe I should get it. So I did and my first thoughts on it was a okay rate. Because it was really hard to get good shoes but I learned really fast and I went to a treasure stash every 24 hours and got so many shoes from it. It became a habit we’re I went on a walk everyday. Where I’m living now I walked 1.3 miles and 26 minutes a day and walked back home so 2.6 miles a day I got so much steps from it. So overall this app is awesome!

Ok so to start it off, this game is awesome! It involves collecting your favorite sneakers by walking and going to locations. Everything about the artwork and the whole setup of the game is pretty much perfect. The location and step tracking is accurate, too. But the best part of all is that if you have a question or concern, you can just ask them right through the app! I’ve did this three times already and they answered within the hour! Now that you have gotten to the end of the review, I am going to make a big request but it will make the game ten times better: Auctioning. If people could bid on shoes in the marketplace, rather then just buying them, it will make the game a whole lot more interesting and potentially help younger players earn more Aglet! Breathtaking shoe-collecting experience.
When I tell you now, this game is the stuff. I was never a sneaker collector until I started collecting vans so I didn’t know a lot about sneakers until someone showed me this game. It consists of an experience almost no app can top off with a gps system for stashes and repairing your shoes and shop and the marketplace which is the main sources of copping shoes which I love. This app changed how shoe collecting was gonna be for me because you didn’t have to spend irl money for them! Sure they may have payed currency and soon-to-be nfts but overall this is a banger app! Hope to see amazing shoes come into the shop as shop 8 is coming this Saturday.

The caches on the map are ridiculous. A school? A motel 6? Real estate place? Car dealership? Another motel? Another car dealership? Another real estate place? Costco is okay I guess. How close do I have to walk to these places to get the cache? If school was in then students would get rich quick in this game. The only other people that would get the caches necessary to participate in the event are rich real estate brokers that travel to motel 6’s every day. Not a starbucks? A mall? Come on. What is this? Don’t waste your money on this since it’s rigged. Just play and see how far you can get. You can get some cool swag just by walking in what you get for what you earn in game.

I love the concept of this app, I really do. The execution leaves a lot to be desired for me personally. The shoes you get and wear will wear down and you’ll have to use repair stations to repair them. Ok, fine. But each repair is only 15% of the shoes durability. So if you’re a free player, not spending real life $, you won’t want to wear a cool hype shoe you attain. The Shop is cool but heavily focuses on Nike and the other brands get little to no love. So as an Adidas guy, this isn’t a turn off but I know most people Stan for Nike so take it for what it’s worth.

Great game but few problems.
Hey I love the game a lot I have been playing for only a week and I am loving it. I just have two issues that could make the game better. The first one is if you could make a way for f2p (free to play) players have the ability to earn gold Aglet. This would make many more people trying more hard in the game to get a pair of shoes they couldn’t before. My second issue is locations, the locations are good but I feel if there aren’t enough throughout my area making have to go near the city or farther to get a treasure,repair, or deadstock location. Overall great game and keep up the great work!
