Airmix Hack 4.0.2 + Redeem Codes

I’ve been searching for a solid iPad compatible streaming app for a while now. No other app gives you the impressive amount of control that Air Mix does. Love the classic switching system as well. 4 stars only because I’m struggling to get video sources to load. Will update review if I can get it working.

I’ve looked for a professional live streaming app like this for a long time. Teradek has stepped up to the plate to provide professional features to iPhone and more productions, proving that you don’t need a $50k camera package to bring professional results. Great work Teradek!

If I could request anything for future updates:
-Osmo Mobile Remote Control of Pan/Tilt (DJI SDK Enables it)
-AirPods support for audio monitoring
-Remote recording trigger. Enable local recording start/stop for remote cameras
-Better audio FX for compression, noise gate and eq
-Microphone / Audio source selection. Exactly how Filmic Pro enables audio input routing.
-Remote guests capture. Think Switcher Studio Video Chat, Ecamm Interview Mode, etc. Some kind of WebRTC client that a video+audio feed can be accessed remotely via a web browser. Multiple guests would be game changing.
-4K Recording on remote cameras.

This app is an excellent live switcher for the professional that understands the nuances of live production. I would not recommend it for beginners or casual users. It also appears to be intended for a dedicated producer, rather than someone who is behind the camera and switching at the same time.

In future updates, I would like to see...

*A streamlined interface for starting/stopping/updating sports timers from the main screen.
*A streamlined interface for instant replays.

This app can do it all... livestreaming, video production, sound mixing, instant replay, comprehensive color control, project file libraries, HEVC encoding, multi-platform suppport, cross-platform compatibility... oh man the list just goes on and one. One-of-a-kind for video professionals!

To the developers of this amazing product, below is a couple features needed to take this to the next level. Please consider...

-Adding DJI Osmo Mobile remote control via touch. DJI's SDK supports this. Switcher Studio uses it. This would allow solo sportcasters to follow live action from their iPad.
-Need Airpods/Airpod Pros Headphone monitoring. Currently the app still uses the mic, not allowing them to be used as headphones only.
-Remote Recording Trigger is a must-have. Currently, the remote cam app enables local recording if manually selected on the remote cam itself. Production teams need a way to trigger all cameras simultaneously from the controlling Switcher / Device.
-Post 2020 world necessitates a video chat feature. Restream, Switcher, Livestudio, and others offer Video Chat features and this could be huge for AirMix, too.
-The Equaliser is broken. It is missing several octaves (so is the sound visualizer), and there is no ability to control EQ bands or add parametric adjustments.
-The compressor is porly configured. Introduces compression artefacts after only a few decibels of loudnesss reduction.
-4K Recording on remote cameras would enable indie film and commercial production groups to fully utilize this app for their business. It is worth integerating.
-The UI is slick but in many cases setting do not "stick" or appear to have been applied. The app could be improved by better button optimization.

I have been a Switcher Studio user for almost a year. First day with Airmix Live I had to find a manual/tutorial to figure out how to add a remote camera. This app is not intuitive! Graphics are not out of the box, but after day 2 I will update.

This app can do it all... livestreaming, video production, sound mixing, instant replay, comprehensive color control, project file libraries, HEVC encoding, multi-platform support, extensive camera compatibility... oh man the list just goes on and one. One-of-a-kind for video professionals! Thank-you, Teradek!

Since COVID I started to live stream events to keep family and friends connected. I even streamed a Wedding! I started off streaming with Zoom since that’s what I was using for work. But I wanted a portable and convenient way of putting on a live stream with a bit more control of my camera angles and graphics.
I like that Airmix is iPad based because it’s super portable and I always have this with me whether I’m going to a small family gathering, my brother’s soccer games, or really just anywhere.
I also like that I have the ability to overlay graphics, add additional cameras with iPhones (I dont have to go out and buy camera equipment), and control audio levels. It’s also nice that I can basically stream to Youtube and Facebook right from the app.
There are some nice additional features that I play with like instant replay, image stabilization, and streaming to multiple destinations (like Youtube and Facebook at the same time).

There’s still a place for Zoom and FaceTime like if you really need to have conversations. But streaming with Airmix is better if you want to get people watching and experiencing an event like they’re there. It’s almost like you’re watching the same tv series or sports event and having a similar (or for them an even better) view!

To all the one star reviews about live streaming to YouTube being broken, this was actually because YouTube changed something about authentication. You guys are barking up the wrong tree, and this glitch has since been adapted to in an update like less than a week after the problem arose. I like to stream via the RTMP option anyway because I don’t have to worry about authorization issues like that.

Out of all the live-streaming software for the iPad, this is the most powerful. It gives you pro level amount of control over your presentation with on screen graphics and tons of fine controls to customize the look and design of your live switching.

It can be a bit daunting for those just starting out, but you can simply use the iPad’s camera, throw on a title and then stream to Facebook easily as a beginner. From there, the sky is the limit.

The more I dig into the options, the more my mind is boggled with all the features it has. There are some things I only see on much higher end switching software for desktop computers.

On iPads from the last couple of generations, it has been rock solid. Make sure you don’t use an old old iPad if you want to add a bunch of video sources and overlay graphics, though.

TLDR, this is a rock solid option for pros and those looking to up their game in live streaming.
