Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2 offers eight complex new airports, more aircraft, additional gates, and sharper detail. Like the first volume, Airport Madness 3D gives players a 3-dimensional air traffic control experience, from a control tower perspective. While Volume 1 offers easier airports, Volume 2 is guaranteed to challenge you. Push traffic as quickly as you can, while avoiding midair collisions. Choose good weather or bad, adjust the tower height to your preference, then do your best to manage jet traffic into and out of eight different real-world airports. Listen to human pilot voices as the aircraft obey your every command. Scan your radar screens for potential conflicts between aircraft. View the action from the Pilot Cams, the Sky Cam, Tower Cam or Runway Cam.

Our terrain is built from real-world earth data. Airport designs are based on real-world layouts. Game play has been designed by real-world air traffic controllers and commercial pilots. Even the aircraft flight characteristics are highly realistic.

Good yet unrealistic
Overall good game, good for quick fun. Two things would be nice: option to change departure runway once plane has started taxi, a hold/stop command anytime a plane is on the ground, and for emergencies once the emergency is done, a request to continue taxi instead of an auto start... many crashes occur when a plane stopped on a runway starts automatically with no way to stop it, and some planes are delayed when you can’t change the departure runway once assigned and pushback from gate is complete

Good start, needs improvement
It’s a great game to pass the time, but a big feature it’s lacking is the ability to restrict which runways are for departures and which are for arrivals etc. it’s annoying to have to keep touting planes away from departure runways when I have a long line of planes waiting to go. Then these reroutes get jumbled up with other ones and it makes for more stressful gameplay. In the real world this doesn’t happen because arrival and departure runways are outlined in the ATIS. If this game incorporated ATIS it would be far better. when you pick your runways before starting you should be able to choose which runway(s) are reserved for arrivals and which are for departures. It can be optional if the player prefers the chaos as the game is now, but for those of us who’d like a bit more realism it can make the game more enjoyable.

Extremely addictive, surprisingly helpful for my job
My friend sent me the link to this game on Tuesday. It’s now Saturday and I’ve moved over 3,000 planes. The controls and commands are easy to pick up and this is a great way to pass the time.

I got to work at the airport this morning and found myself having to dispatch fuelers to flights and it honestly was a lot easier than I thought partly because I’ve spent the past three days in the mindset of juggling flights, so thanks!

The only thing I’ve noticed is a bug where every now and then the starting airplanes will taxi backwards and can’t take off. I wish they’d add a night mode, too.

Some new features, mostly good but...
I love most of the new features in V2 that I wish would get ported over to V1 so I can play Boston with the radar flight paths. However, the scalable radar screens are a huge pain to deal with on a phone screen. I wish those would just go back to two little squares in the corner like in V1. They start out much too large in V2, taking up 1/3 of the screen. I spend a lot of time trying to resize them but they mostly just move instead of resizing, and meanwhile I’ve got planes sitting and crashing because you can’t resize the radar while paused.
Also the battery drain in V2 is even more dramatic than in V1.

Would like to unlock at least one more airport
So far this is a fun and challenging game, but I would like it if you were able to unlock just one more airport, maybe one with a taxiway, because the London airport that you start off with gets boring pretty quickly.

Like I wouldn’t mind watching videos/ads to be able to unlock new airports, rather than pay to unlock the airports.

Otherwise, I like the game.

Amazing game but you have to pay for airports
Amazing game but you have to pay for airports. Now I know they have get money somehow, but having to paying for airports is not the case. doing the runways in London city is getting pretty tiring since I am of veteran for this game. I would get this game five stars if you shouldn’t have to pay for airports. They could I have made levels instead of paying for airports, because I don’t want to waste my money saving my money, but just please disable the feature for paying airports.

Needs Tweeking
I think the developers were more focused on graphics than realistic game play. Approach controllers will not allow aircraft handed off to the tower to overlap on top of each other. Approach controllers will hand an aircraft off to the tower when the aircraft is on final approach to the runway and evenly spaced. This is unrealistic. On multi runway airports, tower will dedicate runways for landing and take off. In SFO, aircraft will never land on 01L while aircraft are departing 01L. The way this game is developed, a player simply cannot run an airport like it is supposed to be run. Needs a lot of work.

Almost like it wasn’t made for touchscreen
Why is it so hard to click on the planes in the radar? This ruins the whole point of being efficient as you have to click multiple times to get the game to register that you’re clicking on the aircraft. Please fix.

Great Game, here is some suggestions 👇
This game is great! I installed it on a Tuesday or Wednesday, and now it is a Sunday! I am so addictive to this game!

One thing I like about this game is you get to operate or direct planes! So, you are a Plane Operator or Plane Director.

Second, it also helps me when I grow up to become a Pilot! 👨🏼‍✈️ It tells me to take off, to go around to the aircraft, etc!

You should also have a time on there!
One of my suggestions is that you should have a night time mode. Like this below:

12-5AM is Midnight/Morning
6-11AM is Work Time
12-5PM is Afternoon
6PM-7PM is Evening
8PM-11PM is Night

Fun time killer, but buggy
Locks up during session start. Takes about 1-2 minutes before it crashes and returns to the iPhone app icons.

The other thing, when you get good it never keeps the rate of aircraft high. Some players (same one and must be a shill) hit 130 planes handled in the 29 minutes. I could do that and more easily if they kept the planes coming. My best score is 127 and essentially sat waiting for a small number of aircraft for the last 3 minutes.
