HOW IT WORKS
From the rainbow home screen you can choose a letter to learn. Then find and drag the matching letter into the letter’s shape. Whenever you touch a letter it will make a sound, this will help your child learn to also identify letters by their unique sounds. Once you get it right, you’ll be rewarded with pictures of items that start with that letter and a song to help you remember the letter and new words!

My Little one loves the app
My 19 month old loves this app. We have e been watching Akili and Me since he was a few months old and getting the app was the next step. Like others said, I wish there was more, like Capital letters and a few more words for the letters but, that’s what the videos and parents are for, right.

I love this app. This app has helped my 18+ month old learn to identify letters and it’s phonic sounds! I love the interactive part where the child has to choose one of the different letters around to fit the correct letters in the middle. My baby is not even 2 yet and can identify, sound out, and give more than one example of every letter in the alphabet.

This app is needed!
My son has been using this app since around 10 months. At first he couldn’t even drag the letters but now he can match all of his letters at 20 months. He says them, identifies them on packages and any signs he sees. This app has definitely let him learn to identify and say his letters and I’m amazed.

Information Not as advertised
I feel cheated ... even though it’s a dollar worth.
The information given isn’t what is given . Only the alphabets matching comes up and the alphabets are in small letters only.
My issue is cancelling the subscription, I can’t seem to find a way to cancel and the email I sent hasn’t been responded to.

Great but needs more
My daughter loves akili so I decided to buy to app. I just wish it had a little more to help learn not really hands on. And we went through the whole app in like 5 minutes. I hope in the future more games are added in to learn.

Helps my 14-month-old associate the sound with the letters recognizing numbers. I just have such a good time.. plus fun learning, we watch this religiously lolAlso in my chocolate community my fiancé faithfully spread the word about this app and the YouTube videos we swear by it ..hopefully you enjoy it ! waste of my money
my infant loves akili and me alphabet and number songs but this app didn’t include songs.

Needs improvement
I literally just paid for the app because my 1 year old loves watching these videos on YouTube. He has been counting and saying his abc’s. I will teach as well but took a backseat approach to see if this show was going to be beneficial. I don’t really sit my son in front of the tv, if I do it’s prob towards the end of the day and I like it to be educational. So, by observing him watching the YouTube videos I see he’s increased his learning double so this is my go to for his development. However, I am disappointed with the app. It’s glitchy on my phone. No sounds play only the instrumental and I can’t go back once I click on a letter and it takes so long for them to start sounding out the letter I didn’t even know at first they had that option that’s how glitchy and laggy it is for me. I can’t really do much in the app itself. I am okay with supporting them because I believe in their cause but they should put more thought and care into their app esp if they are charging. You’d expect it to be well throughout. Dollar or not it’s the principal. At least have your app represent you in a good light and this app is so far below the bar of what they offer on YouTube. I see they haven’t updated it since it’s debut. I hope they see this review and consider working on their app or are already in the process. Shalom
