This app displays a pace that is completely bogus until passing on of the splits at 7.5, 15, and 12.8 miles (for the mini), leaving the user with a TOTALLY inaccurate impression of the runner’s performance except at those spots. You can’t go 7.5 miles between accurate updates!
The screen freezes regularly when looking at the map so that you can’t slide it or zoom. Transition between screens is awkward, requiring you to select the runner each time rather than being able to toggle between the map and split times screens. The “Y” symbol with a “do” in the middle is undefined. It does make the splits, but by clicking on it you should be able to learn more than the mile mark, like what it means.
The map is completely misleading in that it apparently is based on a projected pace rather than actual location. At the “finish”, The app shows conflicting information. Map shows runner reached the finish line, but the split times aren’t shown yet for even the 12.8, let alone the finish, and the projected finish time continues to count down at the current clock time.
So, basically, the information presented by the app is totally imaginary.
