We need this today
I get something new every time I listen. Alan Watt's messages are timeless. 40 or 50 years ago his message of respect for our planet and our inseparable relationship to it were barely heard by a very few. It holds true today, and still only some are listening. It gives me solace and inspiration to listen to these lectures. These lectures and others should be more mainstream. I also appreciate his comments on religion- I am weary of dogma and the strife it causes, again I 'm elevated by his wisdom. Thank you for keeping them alive.

I was worried about past reviews before the app was updated. You can rewind, fast forward, stop and start from dead screen... all that! Great works of art!

Great Lectures, Inferior App
I listen to these lectures when I clean house, so for three or four hours I feel like I'm in one if those lecture halls. I get a near-total Alan Watts experience.
The app, you will want to know, has no idea where you last left off, so you must listen completely or be willing to listen again. But, if you know Alan Watts, then you're already familiar with hearing it all before. Still, the app should be a tool not merely a playback device, which this one is.
Improvements this app needs:
Remember where you last listened w amount listened to viewable from TOC.
Ability to take notes, star, or pinpoint important moments so you can reflect on those ideas later.
Higher legibility. The display is low contrast and ugly.

Critical Need. Updating?
March 29, 2017 Love these apps but these beautiful lectures will be gone if you don't update these apps soon before the next iOS. St least is there any where we can download the lectures?
I found a way. Open the ipa file with Macs Archive Utility. A folder will be created in the same folder as the ipa file. Inside this new folder you will find all the lectures as generic numbered MP3 files.

This app is amazing, but if the developers are reading this, please raise the inherent volume of the app, my speakers play it very softly, even at maximum volume.
