We fixed a bug that caused the app to keep the music paused after using push-to-talk. We love music as much as the next person, but we want you to be able to sing along while you ride. Tweaked asome other minor bugs that were causing some glitches here and there.
Thanks for your patience as we worked through these bugs. Now get out there and enjoy the sunshine (with a soundtrack, if you so choose)!

Kind of works, but very poorly
So far this app has been a headache to use. I’m pretty tech literate, and I’M struggling to connect the companies hardware to the app. May return if this issue does not get resolved.

Much improved
From the old reviews I’ve read about this, there has been major improvements. Just bought some Aleck 006’s on sale and gave them a try. There is a push go talk mode, which yes, there is a delay because it records your message and then delivers it. Which is great if you just want to tell your group where and when to meet up. There is a new feature now that is called party mode. You can go between PTT and party mode in the app. Party mode enables everyone in your group to talk live all at the same time. Looking forward to trying this all out on the mountain.

Easy to use & great customer service
Family of 4 - we all set up our devices and joined a group with ease. If you are about to go skiing I would skip the firmware update as it takes awhile. Received prompt response on customer service question 👍

The App is terrible, hardware isn’t bad
Nothing about this works properly. I can join a group but when the comms work they are super delayed, if you are on the slope itself ambient noise is 100x louder than the voices. I can here the sounds of people skiing or the wind but I can’t hear the person trying to talk.
If I play music I’ll blow my eardrums out, but still have trouble hearing the other people trying to talk.
That’s IF it’s working at all. The majority of the time it’s entirely useless and doesn’t work.

Great idea, poor performance
Was excited to keep track of the family while skiing, but alas there are to many bugs to rely on this app. It continually closed itself on one phone. The push to talk worked intermittently and often with a big delay. The tracking was also inconsistent. And the time for the firm ware update was just ridiculous

Crashes when downloading ski resort map
Every time I try to download the Mt Bachelor resort map the app crashes and cancels the download. Asked tech support for help, they said it worked for them and left it at that. I was able to download other maps, so I know it’s not user error. Detailed maps and seeing where my buddies are was 50% of why I bought these headphones. Bummed.

Absolute junk
The music streaming works. It’s ok, not great. The walkie-talkie never works. I used it for a year and other than a random word or 2 I was never able to talk to anyone in our group of three. Another couple we know also has this system and they can’t even get music to stream reliably.

Difficult
After struggling with the app I discovered there was a new app. This has to be the most difficult app to set up, pair, grant permissions, you name it. I haven’t even used it on the slopes yet and I’m about to give up on it. Based on some reviews I highly expect the experience to be bad.

Garbage in/Garbage Out
Nothing works, EVER! Too finicky. Return if you still have time. We own 4 and are stuck with them. Nothing more than overpriced bluetooth speakers. Buy anything other than these! My $20 Skull Candy’s work as advertised unlike this garbage.
