Great Resource for managing my HSA!
The app is great at view and submitting expenses. The interface looks a bit clunky and as a software engineer there are some definite issues I would address as well as improvements and ease of use enhancements. I would definitely recommend this app and I use it multiple times a month.

Made as difficult as possible
This group that manages my money makes it as difficult as possible to prove that payments I made are legitimate. I provide receipts and proof of services for my flex saving account and claims are denied as they cite proof from insurance also. This is not a requirement per IRS rules but they take it upon themselves to add additional requirements so they can claim my money at end of tax year after making it as difficult as possible. In addition, expect to spend at least 30 minutes on hold to talk to them also. If I could them negative stars, I would.

Easy to use
Love this app. Does have a different log in credentials than online however once I set it up I can either log in with Face ID or 4 digit pin. Makes submitting claims simple and fast as I just take a pic of my documentation and upload to my claim or debit swipe. Can get my balance at anytime and see if I need to submit receipts and the status of my card.

So Easy!
Downloading this app has been a life saver! I’ve been able to upload receipts upon completion of services and I see my reimbursement most often in less than 4 days.

App is ok but Alerus and 24HourFlex flex aren’t great plan administrators
Was a 24HourFlex customer and was migrated over to Alerus. App is ok and can do most things without a computer. Company itself I would NOT recommend. Their migration was a total disaster in which they told us one date and never met their own expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this company if I had a choice in who administered my HSA.

Terrible service
This FSA group is really hard to deal with and takes a really long time to review claims. It has been my experience that the company works hard to deny claims so they can keep the money from the contributor/member. It also takes a long time to get through in the member service line in order to resolve issues.
