Alphatrak Hack 1.1.4 + Redeem Codes

This could be a great app; however, it crashes multiple times every time I use it which is incredibly frustrating and tedious. Like sometimes I can’t even get it to stay open long enough to record an insulin dose and heaven forbid you want to navigate to another day - crash city.

It would also be helpful to add a setting where the syringe & insulin type can be prepopulated so you don’t have to fill it in every reading.

That being said, it is useful to have an app for tracking & am glad it is able to be synced to multiple devices so both my husband and I can record readings independently.

I have been using this app for about two weeks to track my pets glucose and insulin dosages. It has been working great with a few quirks. I will note I am manually entering his levels. I wanted to test the app before I bought the updated meter. First tracking is pretty easy. I am able to log his glucose and insulin with no issues. It does ask me to enter the insulin and syringe type every time, which is a little annoying. This probably could be something you can set as an editable default. Many pet owners only need to change this info if the insulin changes. It also could be a pull down. Also, I wish there was a just a simple notes log. Something for the pet owner to just write general notes to self or notes that the doctor might need. Pulling reports is useful, that’s a great feature. I just wish I can customize what I pull. Like date range, insulin dosage, glucose numbers. In the glucose reports tab, when I’ve pulled a few it alway defaults to the last 6 months and doesn’t include his insulin dosage. I found another report in a different tab location that does put the the glucose with the insulin dosage, but it includes the needle type and makes the report really long. Time and dose is all you need. Consolidate all reports in one tab. Hopefully this app improves more. This is a great tool for pet parents with diabetic animals.

On an iPhone 14. This app is comically unstable. It crashes every time you add a measurement or scan the meter or change screens or do just about anything else.

The fact that they’re not rushing out patches on an emergency red alert type of schedule to get the stability higher is baffling. Must have outsourced its development and now are stuck with not being able to make changes or something weird.

It will get the job done. But be prepared to re-open the all 2 or 3 times to get your meter read most times.

I’m not having any of the issues other people have described so I hate to see the poor reviews. This app works wonderfully for me! I have the AlphaTrak 3 and with the Bluetooth function on my meter I can get my cats blood glucose curve report so easily and conveniently. I am so grateful that this product and its corresponding app exists. I’m a newbie and am still figuring out the diabetes learning curve as my cat was recently diagnosed, but this company has made our experience easier. Thank you!

Great for keeping track of my cats blood glucoses but download numbers to phone have to manually enter them even though the Bluetooth is connected

I purchased the AlphaTrak-2 in Feb 2023 for a newly diagnosed cat. Now in June 2023 the strips are not available or increased 150% in price as the new model 3 comes out. But it’s very poor timing that the new app ‘advantages’ are limited only to the iPhone which I do not have. Why in the world not have iPad and similar iOS compatibility ready when launching such an upgrade with little notice ? My vet may have to be satisfied with data from another brand glucometer.

The app crashes regularly but at least gathers data. The developers are obviously from outside of the US based on their poor grammar and updates that state “Big Fixes”- please try again with the right vowel. Altering the compile time flags to allow for 24hr time is not a bug fix, and barely accounts as a feature improvement. I certainly hope that human glucose meters are not subject to the same poor quality control in their code base.

It’s great this app can sync with the meter and my iPhone but the report don’t work. The app just crashes over and over when I try to create BG curve reports.

The app literally does nothing, it will not import any data from the A3 at all. It’s completely useless.

I just downloaded this app to my iPhone and I cannot use it because the “register” and “forgot password” links overlap on the front page. I have tried about eight times to click on the “register”, and every single time I get taken to the forgot password page, so I can’t even register and begin to use this app. I have no idea how it would work if I was able to register. I expected a lot better from Zoetis. UPDATE:I was able to get to the registration screen on my iPad. When I was asked to make a password, I entered one that was nine characters long, with upper and lowercase letters and also numbers. I was not allowed to registerer because twice I got an error message that said my password has to be at least eight characters long with upper and lower case letters and numbers. I give up. This is an absolute disaster of an app.

UPDATE 2: I’m not surprised that this app works so poorly when their reponse to me reporting issues is to say that I’m lying, see above. I took a photo of the overlapping links on the app that the developer claims do not actually overlap. I went to the website to send the photo to you. I could not log in to the Alphatrak website, it says my email address does not exist. I loved out of the app and back and just to confirm to myself that that is the email I used to establish an account. In other news, I have managed to connect my phone to the glucometer, but the data will not transfer from the meter to the app. I am excited to see that there is one person for whom this congratulations to her!
