Can’t login since cohort 12 went live
Hey I’ve waited 3 months for cohort 12 to go live an once it finally did I still couldn’t login or create an account. I’ve emailed and reported the problem through the “shake to report” feature however now that is no longer working either. I was really excited to use the app but haven’t be able to create an account without the app telling me the type of password won’t work but I’ve met all the password requirements or and uppercase letter, 1 number or special character etc. I’ve also tried more than one password option and it still shoots it the same invalid password error. I’m really lost on the next step to take…. I hope I can get some help since I’ve waited to long to use this resource!

THE WAIT, but I didn’t complain I added tips for improvement.
I don’t understand why we are on cohort 11, I have had the app for over 3 months and I have been waiting for cohort 11 for about 2 months. I know it’s none of my business but whoever credit that bad should just try to fix it through some other platform because, they are making it worse for people. I’m trying to give my credit a little nudge to get even better but, it hasn’t left off cohort 11 for 2 and a half months it’s OKAY to leave that person out; I promise they strangler is really hurting the time some people want to buy a house, car, boat, even get a personal loan and this could help people but people are I downloading this app because of the wait time. I’m not here to insult or just complain without trying to fix it so here the idea, the people who has the worst credit problem that is causing a hiccup pull them to the side and help them 1 at a later time or 2 push them to a “specialty cohort”. This would be beneficial to everyone I do not want to keep updating and waiting on the app. I just want to see it move faster! Thank you if you decide to use my opinion to help.

Haven’t seen credit reporting
I’ve had the app for over 6 months now, I haven’t seen any credit reporting on my rental payments at all. I have been trying to make a payment on the credit card that is used to report my subscriptions through the app for over a week now and it doesn’t work. The only response I received was to switch my subscriptions back to my regular card until they fixed the system. My due date for my payment has passed and I still can’t make a payment. Tried to follow up on the status of the fix and haven’t received a refund. This entire process has not been what was initially described when this was rolled out. Update: Still haven’t been able to make a payment for my subscriptions, rental reporting completely stopped as soon as it started. Every time I contact support they say they are working on the glitch, it’s been months since I first contacted them and it’s still not fixed. Can’t link my bank account anymore. I’m trying to pay my balance but can’t. This is ridiculous.

Don’t even try or just delete something is going on here !
I have been having problems with perch for weeks with no solutions. First my bank account unlinked, then my account reporting my rent automatically closed on my credit report reducing my credit age and dropping my score haven’t been able to make any payments now here my balance is $60 on my subscriptions card and it’s prompting me to get a whole new card which I can’t to bc I still can’t link my bank account and I still owe a balance that I can’t pay ! Customer support has been no help either not responding for week or when they do respond they are all “having their team look into it” all the while my credit scores are at risk of dropping more and more bc it’s going to look as if I’m missing payments !! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! Not to mention all my subscriptions are on this one card that I will have to change now ! This is not good credit is serious and perch is just playing with people credit with no answers or updates

Love it!!
I really enjoy using Perch. Yes, there may be a little wait as this app is probably blowing up right now and they’re allowing different cohorts in every day. However, once you have access it is so worth it!! I love that Perch offers courses to read through in regards to various financial topics. I love the fact that you can build credit by paying your rent/mortgage and/or other recurring expenses. I think that Perch has a lot to offer and definitely will help so many with financial literacy and getting into better situations. Really glad I joined. Also the support team is super responsive and extremely helpful!! Love the fact that you don’t have to wait dayssss on end for a response if you need help. Way to go Perch!! 😊

Everyone needs to join perch!
Especially with what you guys are doing, it’s pretty great. You need credit to get credit but you can’t get credit to have credit. By being able to use what you actually pay each month to build credit that’s how is should be done to build credit. It makes the transition from no credit to needing a loan so much easier since we can build credit through what we already pay. Thank you!

What they do is amazing. Go join and numb up your credit!

REVISITED What happened to my rent reporting? Oh ya, they just deleted it without notice.
NEW ADDITION:

This app is absolutely terrible. Don’t waste your time. I’d been having problems with it, and now today, it has just completely deleted my account and I have to now “join a new cohort”. Terrible management and customer service. I’m so disappointed. Again, don’t waste your time with this app.

OLD COMMENT:
I’ve used this app and it’s helped me, but once I moved and changed addresses, it “closed” my account and my credit score went down 90 points. Then I reentered my new lease agreement and info to get it back on track, been waiting weeks while it’s in review, then tried to log on today to check the status and the rent reporting option is completely gone and the “subscription card” is the only thing available. Then of course when I try to link my bank account to set up the subscription card, it won’t work. Tried contacting support, no one is available. I’m really disappointed because I really enjoyed this app, but seems like it’s becoming very buggy and not useful. Would love to continue using it, but if this continues, will have to say goodbye to it.

Most services aren’t available to me. Can’t use it. Beta test?
Waited for Weeks to be allowed to sign up. Once I did, it asked me for so my info. Started using the app, but the credit report feature wasn’t working yet. The feature for checking your bank to use subscriptions for credit reporting wasn’t available in my state yet. So I basically waiting for nothing. I can’t use the service or the app. The text in the UI had some issues with spacing and size. I was starting to get a little concerned of this was legit after putting in personal and financial info. I feel like I’m testing the software/service instead of actually using it, but I can’t even do that yet. I’m might delete my account for now until the service has more time to roll out and develop itself and not have a testing phase and see if it’s worth it.

BEST APP/ GREAT SERVICE
I LOVE this app! I promise it is WELL WORTH the wait. The customer service is absolutely amazing. Great team, very very kind and for me, they went above and beyond to help me and even get to know me! I’ve been trying very hard to build my credit and this app helps so much. Convenient, fast, and the customer service is great with getting back to you in a timely manner. I can’t say enough good about this app! If your looking to build your credit, this is the app to do it!

Beyond frustrating
I was hoping Perch Credit Card for subscriptions would make life a little more easier but it’s been the complete opposite. The app is horrible, I got charged twice one time for making a payment and now I’ve been trying to pay my balance for almost 2 months now. Can’t connect my bank and every time I contact customer support, they say they’ll look into or let me know when the bug is fixed. So now I just use my net spend card, since I can’t even pay off the balance I owe Perch so that my subscriptions can be renewed another month! I guess whenever the App is improved, I can finally pay them back the freaking $60 I owe them and DELETE it!
