Aluratek WiFi Frame Hack 2.0 + Redeem Codes

I gave this frame as a gift to my father so he could receive pictures of my family. I had high-hopes and have been extremely disappointed. The app freezes constantly. The “add text to images” feature won’t work. To top it all off, the pictures are pixilated and blurry! There isn’t a way to fix that? I’ve deleted, resent, tried taking pictures through the app, NOTHING WORKS! What a waste of time and money. I’m using an iPhone 7, so I’d say up-to-date technology that takes decent pictures. I would not recommend this frame!

Having been around for the birth of digital photography, the idea of being able to send photos to a frame from anywhere in the world is remarkable. I’m still in awe of where we’ve come in terms of technology and can’t wait to see what’s next.

That being said, this app needs some work. It’s clunky, prone to crashing and at time very, very sloooowww.

Another issue I have is not having a way to view the photos I’ve already sent. I’m going through and album with over 5K photos so it’s kinda hard to remember which ones I’ve already sent to my mother’s frame. Perhaps later versions of this app could include a small thumbnail album to keep track of the photos?

Overall I love the idea and technology behind this app and associated product. With a little tweaking, on a rating scale of 1-5, this could easily deserve a 6!!

Simply does not work! Chances are you bought the frame, then downloaded the app, then saw these reviews. All the issues in this comment section are true. Delete and return! Even if it seems like it’s sort of working at first, it won’t take long before it reveals its true identity as a piece of useless junk. Save yourself the awkward moment of trying to make this app and frame work in front of the loved one you’re thoughtfully gifting it to, and order a Pixstar frame.

I love the frame, and having the ability to share photos easily with family members hundreds miles away, but the app is slow and tedious to use. It would be a 5 Star app if It didn’t take so long to send photos and also would like the ability to send more than 9 photos at a time. The ability to add and remove photos from the frame using the app would be nice too

This app is super buggy and constantly crashes and kicks me out. I’ve have to find stupid ways to bypass the bugs such as double clicking to go go a new app and then going back just to be able to enter a device number.
The enter a device number pops up every time I use the app and it freezes. Won’t let you proceed or type and won’t let you back out.
It’s a great concept. Fix the bugs and crashes

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing the frame. If I had I would have spent more and gotten a better frame with reliable service. The app doesn't work 99% of the time and the company does not care. It's a known issue and they have done nothing about it in over 3 years. I definitely would never recommend the frame or anything by Aluratek as it's a waste of time, money and energy.

The app is slow to load and I’m not able to connect to the device because the step to connect the device does not provide a keyboard to type in the ID number.

This makes the frame virtually for me since the entire point was to be able to upload images to the frame via WiFi so grandma can see the latest pics and vids of the kids.

No issues with the app except that I agree you need to be able to see which pictures you uploaded on the app- not just on the frame. Very frustrating to go through the process and find that you uploaded duplicates.

When you spend over $200 for an Aluratek WiFi picture frame that relies on an app to be able to remotely post pictures to the frame, and the supporting Aluratek app turns out to be totally unreliable (constantly freezes), this app doesn’t deserve one star. The Aluratek WiFi frame was returned for a refund, minus return shipping charges.
Really Aluratek, don’t you test this stuff under real world conditions?

I used to love this so much but have not been able to use it anymore as the app just stays loading spinning a circle but never loads & I am unable to upload any photos or do anything on the app. Help!!!!!!! This is horrible
