GOT MY GIRL,
Healthier Happier Mom
Well aside from the LEAN program truly being a life changing experience, this app has made it a game changer. With the click of a button I’m connected with a personal health coach, a daily workout program catered to both beginners and advanced participants, a complete meal plan with grocery lists and so many more features. One of my favorite parts of the app is the Forum. The forum is a platform for current participants to share questions, struggles, recipes and some of their favorite foods & supplements that follow Amanda’s program. I have done the program multiple times, and the things that keep me coming back are all found in this app! The LEAN program has not only changed my life, but my whole family is benefiting daily. We eat healthier than we ever have, (I actually cook now!) and this has taught my kids so much about nutrition. My kids even ask to workout with me some days, and EVERYONE is benefitting from a happier mom. ❤️

I’m giving this app a 3 star because so many things could be better and more mainstream. Let’s start with tracking water. Every water bottle is not the same and sometimes you drink from something else. You should be able to click the plus button to how many ounces not edit, save, and then add. Also don’t like that it doesn’t reset to 8 oz immediately. Then let’s move on to foods. There 1. Should be a partner sharing option if partners sign up together. We make 1 meal and should be able to share it from the same platform. Also good for accountability 2. Should be a favorites button. Where it’s a common food that you eat often and should be able to find super easy and not have to remember the brand and go search. If there is that option it’s not easy to find. It should be like Insta and you click a heart, star, whatever and you have a favorites tab. 3. You should be able to edit your food once you add it and hit the check mark. Lastly the app is not fast it’s actually slow moving. Tracking foods is not my favorite and having to wait because it’s slow makes me want to track less and less. Don’t get me wrong I actually enjoy seeing everyday what I’m eating in terms of proteins vs carbs vs fat and actually how little I was eating. It has taught me I need to eat more to meet my bodies needs.

Who has the time?
I only started with a 5 day challenge to get my feet wet hoping to see what it was all about and to see if I could learn from this program. What I learned is the program is not designed for the working mom
or the mom on the go. The recipes require lots of cooking a prep work with no overlap to cut down on time. I have three kids and work full time and there is no way I could prep three cooked meals for the following day and workout especially on a school night. Also the ingredient list is really quite extensive and several of the all organic items and things aren’t even available to me at my local store because I live in a small town. Further more aside from the cooked meal recipes one recipe you’re actually paying for is a breakfast recipe of “almonds and apples” where basically you cut an apple and eat with almonds. While this is the easiest recipe time wise I found myself wondering wow I really paid for this recipe. I realize she doesn’t market it as easy for for someone with a busy lifestyle but also I don’t think this is realistic or obtainable for someone who is on the go.

Amazing Program
I reached my record-high weight last summer after my metabolism came to a screeching halt when I hit menopause. (I also have hypothyroidism). My husband was packing a few extra pounds, too! We tried several other weight loss programs but none were realistic in the long run for our lifestyle. We have an outdoor kitchen, love to grill and entertain and enjoy drinks with our friends on the weekends. The LEAN program is a perfect fit for the way we live! It was great motivation for me to have my husband right along with me on the journey. We lost 29 pounds total in our first session! Round 2 took us through the holidays and we continued to lose even while enjoying all the holiday parties and family gatherings. We are currently in the middle of round 3, our clothes continue to fit looser and everything we learned from Amanda and her fantastic crew in the LEAN program have now become a way of life for us! Did I mention.....we feel FANTASTIC!

Best LIFESTYLE plan for great results
Amanda is amazing. Not only does she provide the structure for a healthier lifestyle in her weekly calendars, meal plans and Sunday meal prep strategies, macro guidelines, & exercise plans — she provides daily support, EDUCATION on the “whys” behind what she recommends, and a forum to connect with other LEAN members that is a tremendous resource of recipes, helpful hints and a phenomenal community of support and encouragement. Wow - That was a long sentence but I can’t recommend this program enough. Her videos span across the plan - if you don’t know how to do an exercise in her set or if you need more info on certain foods to eliminate there is a link to a video to show you how and why, you’ll watch her actually prepping meals for the week, you’ll see her take YOUR questions live in the weekly calls. Amanda and her team have a lot of bandwidth to promote us being healthy and happy!

Amazing Program
Can’t say enough great things about this program. Im someone who has always been conscious of what I eat. I’m a physical therapist with a degree in nutrition science so nutrition has always been important to me. However, I’ve struggled with food over the years (both eating too much and too little) and was stuck in a rut after giving birth to our little boy (now 7 months). I was desperate to find something to get back on track. For Christmas, my husband gave me the money to enroll in LEAN with Amanda... he enrolled as well just to support me. He is now loving this program as much as I do! The nutrition nerd in me loves that Amanda has backed her program with current research. She provides you with so many helpful nuggets and gives you the tools you need to succeed! Invest in yourself- your health is worth it!

All the support you need in one place
Loving this app! Everyone knows the LEAN program is life changing, but having the all the information in one place to support your LEAN journey is a game changer. You can track your fast, log all of your meals and macros, have access to tons of killer workouts, enter your daily posts in your group for accountability, a library with tons of useful resources to keep your knowledge sharp about all the things Amanda teaches with LEAN, lots of recipes and meal prep ideas, track your progress, and so much more. I used to have different apps for each one of these things and it was not manageable. Amanda’s app is a one stop shop and literally the best tool for keeping anyone that cares about their health and well being on the fast track to success!

LEAN into 2020
If you think you can’t make a significant difference in your overall health and wellness in 7 weeks, well... you’re wrong! Not only have I lost weight and inches but I’m stronger, my body has leaned out, I’m sleeping better and I have more energy, which is a godsend with three energetic boys! I just feel all around better...All because of this program! It is all about sustainable and healthy weight loss without buying any expensive supplements or pre-packaged foods. Learn how to eat in real life from a dietitian who knows what she's talking about! This app is a user-friendly lifeline to Amanda and her phenomenal staff for daily recipes, workouts, accountability and encouragement. I highly recommend the LEAN program and the Amanda Nighbert app!

Phenomenal Program
I loved my first round of Lean so much that I am now into my second round. I have more energy, sleep better, my clothes fit way better. This in turn makes me feel so much better about myself and so much happier in general. Amanda and her team make this program so easy to follow and they give you support and motivation every step of the way. They are always there to answer any questions & give out great tips & advice. The recipes they give out are so delicious, easy to follow, & track. I love that we work together on our journey as a team. I would recommend this LEAN program to anyone. It is very inspirational and I most definitely give it 5 plus stars!!!

Lean program is great! The app needs improvement.
Lean program is great! This is strictly a review of the app. It’s too challenging to use, especially regards to tracking meals. UX is poor for common measurements, ounces, and instead defaults to grams & ml… which makes an added challenge to convert. There is no ability to share meals, so if two or more ppl make/eat the same meal each person needs to add each and every ingredient… this could be made easier (WW does a great job at this). And when searching for a food, tap/clicking return on a keyboard should trigger the start of the search… but in this app you have to actually go tap the search button (it slows down the process, and is unintuitive). And the scan feature.., almost nothing is “found”. I hope they make some changes to improve the app soon!
