Best App for Amino Acids

I love this app. Way better than the flash cards I was trying to use. The variations between names, codons, abbreviations, structures that are possible makes studying for my biochemistry class so much easier. I love this app.

I would love to see a feature where missing a flash card would mix it back into my pile of cards. Maybe a toggle on/off but for me adding a missed card back in helps me through repetition!

Awesome for my MCAT people

If you are planning to take the MCAT, you want to keep practicing with this app to help keep you on track with memorizing these. I have been doing this for 3 days so far and I have memorized about 17 of them already. 3 of them I have 90% mastery. When you see the structures, you will get very familiar with it. Very great app to work on before going to bed. Keeps you on track

College Level Biochemistry/Biology GODSEND

I wish I had known of this app earlier in my undergrad years. I am in Biochemistry right now and we have to memorize all 20 amino acids- their structures, names, letters, everything- and this has been the best learning tool I have ever used. There are no ads, it’s just straight grinding with this app and I love it. I learned everything within an hour, awesome app!

Fantastic

It’s free, but even though the ads aren’t obtrusive, I bought the paid version on the first day because I already loved it so much. It’s so helpful to be able to choose what you want each side of the card to be. I haven’t tried the other apps for learning amino acids, but I cannot imagine a better format.

Side-chain class ERRORS

The app is great and it helped me in Biochemistry tremendously, thank you, BUT THERE ARE ERRORS with the classification of Side-chain Classes. I.e. the correct answer is Polar but the app marks the correct answer as nonpolar. The rest of the app is good, no errors with the other features! Good to note that I haven’t checked the feature asking for CODONS so unsure if there are errors there. All the others are fine, thank you :).

Satisfying, Smooth, and Simple Way to Learn the Amino Acids

This app is the perfect tool for me as I study for the MCAT and need to learn the abbreviations and structures of each amino acid up-and-down. Thank you to the developers for taking the time to make such a great user experience. It’s everything I want with nothing extraneous!

Great Study Tool!

I keep this app on my phone and use it to study the amino acids whenever I have a few minutes to spare. Simple, easy, but great way to study the amino acids constantly wherever you are! Highly recommend if you’re taking Biochemistry or studying for the MCAT!

Phenomenal App

Need to learn these for Bio/Chem and the MCAT and I basically memorized all of the structures within the hour using this app. Like the other reviewers, although it is free to use and the ads are non intrusive whatsoever, purchased it just because I wanted to support the creators! Thank you for making such an easy to use app!

Super helpful

This app was extraordinarily helpful and honestly pretty fun. Within three days of playing around with this app (maybe a total of an hour per day), I knew the amino acids like the back of my hand.

Perfect for studying

This app has all the info you’ll ever need to know about amino acids. The timer and high score feature makes me competitive and want to keep playing. This is the only app I have ever written a review for, so you know it must be good
