Description
“ AnaAtlou ” is a mobile application for listening and learning Quran, Quran exegesis (Tafseer) and Quran translations, dedicated to people with visual impairments and special needs, so they can use and navigate through the entire application without the need of any help from any person, or accessibility app(s). This is due to a new approach for usage and navigation with a novel methodology for mobile applications, where the navigation is based on a set of tactile touchscreen gestures coupled with voice guidance support within the entire application, in a controlled, smooth and user-friendly manner.
Due to the nature of this app ( AnaAtlou ) and the emphasis on the audio navigation features, languages as well as dialects can be integrated, within this application, to further benefit a wider range of people with different levels of disabilities and literacy. Arabic and English versions are released with this second version. Other languages would be available through further updates through the translation platform dedicated to this application.
AnaAtlou accommodates core accessibility apps, such as VoiceOver.
The first version of AnaAtlou was developed by Noor Research Center in Madinah. The second version has been re-developed and will be maintained by NTL with the same development team.
