Great if you’re new to the influencer space
It’s convenient to have all your current collabs and the requirements in one place vs sorting through emails to see what you signed up for. Initially there were app glitches but they’ve worked through the bugs and the only issue lately is sometimes it’ll take a min to load a screen. If you’re new to the influencer space and just starting to grow your account, this is a great way to get connected to brands and just be exposed to new products :) If you’re a full time influencer and make a living through collabs, then this network would not be a fit as they run gifted collabs

So where are all the sponsors?
I went through the trouble of downloading and signing up etc only to discover there are only 3 sponsors on the entire platform and they have nothing to do with the theme of my Instagram account.

Was asked via IG to join
I was repeatedly asked to join and update when my account was waiting for approval. While giving my personal information I could see some content as far as 3 collab opportunities. Once I filled out my info it went to pending approval. I told the person on IG who repeatedly told me to let them know when I was done so they could approve it. It has never been approved. Now all I can see is “account pending approval”. I cannot find an option to even delete my account or information. I asked via email and IG to remove my information and I’ve stopped allowing this app to track. Unfortunately I would advise waiting until they have it together to join.

I have been with them for approximately a year and I have received so much free stuff from them. It’s ridiculous. I love the collaboration with the branch on Apex because it’s very simple and easy and they allow you to be creative and use your distinctive platform.

People who are eating this 1 star definitely have not tried it since the new update which fixes all the minor issues mentioned. Download this app and take you and your business to the top!!

Treat influencers like artists, not servants
Influencers have been treated like a commodity by brands for years and ApexDrop tries to give the power of creative freedom to the content creators again by letting them choose who to work with and how

Don’t let them profit off of you!!
Please do not use this app. They only offer product-exchange (aka no monetary compensation), but work with large brands who should have more than enough of a budget for content creators. They are profiting off of YOUR time and creativity, while you work for free. Even if you are just starting out in influencing/content creation, please do yourself some justice and avoid this app.

The quality of the app has gone down
I’ve been using ApexDrop for a couple years now. They switched from applying for collabs on the their website to using the app. At first, using the app was convenient but now I’d been having trouble getting my influencer handle to stick vs. my personal handle. I’d made so many requests but this last time they finally unapproved me.

Data collection
They misrepresented themselves in several emails to me. They reached out to me and said they wanted to work together and loved my content and account. I filled out my personal info and then got a response my account was not approved. Imagine my surprise since they seeked me out. There is no way to remove your personal information either.
