Social media has never been more rewarding! We believe in our mission to return merits back to the user for the time they spend on social media. Based on a decentralized contribution-reward-system, the APPICS token (APX) is a reward-token that returns the value created via contribution back to the source, namely the creators and curators of the network. Rewards are attached to upvotes and by creating or recognizing the value of content, all participants get a fair share of the DAO reward-pool. APPICS aims at bringing a system to life where the power doesn’t just come from, but stays within the network.
On APPICS users are able to share content in the form of photos and short videos which are divided in 20+ categories that provide structure and visibility for the user experience.
Comments are also regarded as a form of content and users can upvote comments as well, incentivizing people to add positive, helpful or encouraging comments.
But not every upvote is equal - a user can decide how much of their limited voting power they want to use for each upvote. When more upvotes are distributed, the voting power decreases.
Rewards on content are automatically distributed to the user’s in-app wallet after 30 days.
APX tokens can be obtained through content creation and participation in the reward-system, by voting on content within the app. APX tokens can be exchanged for Bitcoin, transferred to other users or staked in order to increase voting weight, which enables users to earn even more rewards.

Great concept and works well
I really love the concept of this app and that it’s allowing users to actually earn crypto with content. I’m so sick of IG and other apps so I’m very optimistic with Appics. The app works and run well and the team is constantly looking for was to improv and respond to feedback to make it better. I’m really excited to see how the app and the platform evolve and go from here.

Enjoyed it while it lasted but going to Lens
Sorry but I was enjoying the app until I had to re login my active key. I know I wrote it down correct because I separated it into sets of 4 to not get confused. Copied and pasted it then separated it then wrote it down in my book yet it's saying it's not correct. Maybe I made a mistake but I've been at this 3 years now and the only time I've ever had with an account is because I was new on Hive and didn't write my keys down. But that was 3 years ago. If I could have just logged in using my wombat wallet where my real telos account is then this wouldn't have been an issue. I'm just gonna stick with Lens and UHive and Instagram. I have 5 notebooks full of keys already , most are useless but it'll confuse anyone looking in my notebook so I leave them all there. A couple are decoys. Basically I know my key is correct or was correct because I've used it before. But now it isn't working so Good luck and goodbye. Just wish I could remove everything I posted now. Wasted a lot of time on this bull

One of the most unique social medias
I got Appics several months before it was released on here during the test flight version. It was a little difficult to understand in the beginning but after some time I got the hang of it. How cool is it you can earn money just by uploading your photos to share them!? This app I’m sure will blow up.
