The app provides verbal prompts to gently talk to the user, making the dreamer aware they can become conscious in a dream. This is called lucid dreaming. The professional pre-recorded audio tracks play at timed intervals to coincide with the REM sleep states. Volume and timing of the audio voice-overs are set by the user. There are both awake and asleep training programs, as well as a personal program set by the user.
