Description
Arc flash hazards can be deadly. This app was created to educate workers about arc flash hazards and assist them in working safely by providing an easy PPE selection tool and a "How to Read Labels" learning tool.
A summary of relevant electrical safety standards has also been provided. The material is based on "NFPA 70E: Handbook for Electrical Safety in the Workplace." Unless otherwise noted, the 2018 edition is referenced. Some material has also been derived from the OSHA "Train-the-Trainers Guide to Electrical Safety For General Industry."
This mobile application was developed by the IUOE National Training Fund (IUOE NTF).
