Archery Specific Physical Training (SPT) is a great way for beginner to competitive archers to increase their Endurance, Power/Strength and Flexibility.
What do you get?
o Create, edit, and run your own SPT timer.
o Four, customizable, built in timers to get you started:
• Holding SPT – develop strength and endurance by bracing the bow.
• Power SPT – develop strength and power by repeatedly drawing the bow from set-up to holding position.
• Flexibility SPT – build expansion strength by doing ‘clicker drills’.
• Bow Raise SPT – Build bow arm strength.
o Each timer has configurable Sets and Reps, plus configurable pre- and post- reps steps.
o Change timer colors by selecting from a list of colors.
You can do archery SPTs using a recurve type bow, light weight bow, stretch band, or training aid. Archers of all skill levels can use SPTs to develop strength of a particular part of the shot process.
