Even better than google but...

This app is really good if ur searching for things that are not actually like what they look like but animated! It's just that there's a tiny glitch with the GIFs... When u save them to ur folder, when u look a them, they don't appear EXACTLY as they were in the GIF before saving it, there's like a the same character standing in the background, but moving at the same time. This may not make much sense but if u want to see for yourself then try finding a GIF and save it to ur folder then check it. Thanks for reading! Make sure to fix the bug! This is still a great app so I gave it 5 stars!

So much better than the official app!

The official deviantART app is as everyone here knows is just absolutely awful, in a recent update you can’t go full screen on some pictures this is what made me use deviantART Explorer app this app is better than the official app in more ways than one. You do have to pay a dollar to have no ads on this app but it’s totally worth it for having a way better user experience than the official app. I do have one problem for some reason almost every artist is listed as “WWW” and I don’t know why I don’t think it’s because the artist isn’t on da anymore as the ones listed as “WWW” still upload more art, but when I try to go to their profile it shows up as nothing, I hope they fix this soon. Overall a great app!

Very good app needs improvement though

The app is very very good and it's a Lots better then The official app but it's need a bit of a improvement for start the app should have a "night mode" ( so it's easier on the eyes) and I just found a bug that cuts the screen in half and the Image/ GIF will not load but I don't know that it's my iPad or it's happening to everyone but I still think that it still needs a good bug cleaning.

Needs some recent attention

I’ve really liked this app. Had it as a 5-Star rating at one time. Reference it on most days, browsing the "Daily Deviations" and such. But the creator hasn’t touched it in a long while, even though bug emails have been sent. And there are definitely some bugs. Yes it’s usable, but you have to figure a number of work-arounds. Different views will have working links (good: ”Daily Deviations +"), while other views the links are broken (bad: "Daily Deviations", "Browse"), ...can’t link to the artist’s page.
And yes, I paid for the "Pro" version. Please make it the excellent app it once ways.

Great App

This is a good app. I think it’s funny how it has more stars than the official one by DeviantArt. I have a request though. In your next update, do you think you can add a feature where you can rearrange the order of the pictures you favorited? Also you should fix this problem where you can’t see a transparent drawing that’s colorless and only back lines. If you can do this, thanks.

Significantly more stable then the official app

I was having nothing but headaches using the official DA app, it would crash every time I was scrolling though large groups of gallery images. I imagine it's unoptimized for my older iPad model. This app however is rock solid, no problems browsing galleries of any size. I'm sure I'll pay the upgrade fee any time now, this app is excellent.

Awesome!

This app is great! I do kinda wish there is a commenting and chat update so I could talk to my friends. (DA is blocked on my phone right now) and I wish you can let users log in through the app as well. Otherwise this is a really good app :)

Until another Update Happens, it won’t work (?)

For now, I am unable to use it as the artist names no longer appear and no longer syncs favorites to the account. While the search function does still work as intended, without the ability to sync my actions to my account, the app is more useful as a rough search function over a replacement.
Honestly, if you want a replacement for the DA app, use the safari browser. It works, and has better functions than their own app.

Glitchy

Good idea, but frustrating. Can’t scroll down while viewing “favorite deviations”...it just keeps popping back to the top as if I’d tapped the “go to top” button. Effectively, I cannot view half of my favorited works, which is the main reason I wanted this app.

Also, the ads are irritating. No one likes ads, but the is banner at the bottom of the screen combined with the scrolling issue means I accidentally tap on ads ALL THE TIME.

I love DeviantArt, but I no longer use this app.

Can't delete favorites (resolved)

Update:
Thanks to dev.
Clearing app cache made space and did NOT delete favorite images or reset anything.
Also, I discovered how to remove favorites when no longer needed.
Raised rating to 5 stars.

Nearly perfect.
The only issue is faving pics uses a lot of phone space.
If I don't need pics faved later, there is no way to delete favorites except to uninstall app and lose everything!

Note - It doesn't say if clearing cache erases pics. There's no way to reach app maker in-app.
