The app is now called "Assets Evolved" as part of a Brand alignment programme.



1.02 - New features include:

Login

The login section of the app has had an overhaul as we introduce a new streamlined method of onboarding the app to your WoodWing Assets DAM. There are now 2 methods to onboard your app, the usual URL and a new QR code system. The the URL entry method has now been moved to the initial screen to make it easier to find.

QR codes
=======
With the introduction of a QR code (which come with each license purchased ) your users will just have to take a snap of the QR code to get your app setup with your WoodWing Assets DAM. Whats more this is paving the way for a new facility which will be available in August where the QR code will have the optional ability to style the app, from logos to backgrounds and available modules. Look out for more news on this in future releases.

Home screen
==========
This version introduces the Home screen which will become your dashboard to WoodWing Assets. The first released module for the home screen is your pinned collections. (Expect over the next few months.)
What is really great about this view is you can quickly flick through the assets in the collection with a swipe and you get to see the first few assets in your pinned collections without even having to go to the collection. Double tap the asset and you can go straight to the asset item view. Neat!

Metadata
=======
Updates to how you see and edit metadata are another core piece to this update.

1/ Hide Metafields.
Firstly, when viewing an asset you can quickly hide all blank fields so you can get straight to the metadata that is filled in. No more scrolling through blank metafields so see what is filled in.

2/ Expand and collapse groups.
A quick expand/collapse groups button is a quick assistant to navigate through the many fields available.

3/ Show hide groups/fields
To match the WoodWing Assets desktop version we have now introduced the ability to personalise the groups and fields you see. These settings are saved on your device and will not affect the desktop version settings.

4/ Editing metafields
It is now possible to edit metadata in the app.
