Update makes it crash
Well since the new update, if you try to select a custom background it crashes the app.
Also, but this is ongoing not since the new app, about 50% of the time when the message come up that there are no use for moves left you can still easily win the game.

Great app
I have been using this app almost daily for over 10 years. I find it relaxing and stimulating. Thus I play it while ready to go to bed or when ready to wake up. I have played thousands of times (I’m retired😊) and it has always worked. Very recently a small bug started where a card was taking up a spot in the tableau but was not identified. The game still worked but I reported it and it was fixed in short order. The app does everything I want and gives options that are good for learning a new game (there are 12) or to make a game more interesting. For example just last month in Klondike I allowed any card versus just kings in the empty tableau column. Changed the game a lot and winning went from approximately 9% of the time to maybe 14%. My strategy changed too. So I highly recommend the game and too bad some apparently have had issues and hence the lower ratings.

The Best-Keeps Getting Better!
I've been playing this game for years, started on my first Palm, and it just gets better and better. The new upgrade makes it more fun and personal. You can customize your cards, the background, and even adjust the rules. I didn't realize how useful that would be until my grandchild started to play. Tweaking the rules to increase the likelihood of winning makes it more approachable for him. It allows him to win enough to want more. The more he plays, the more he learns how to see potential moves and probabilities as he plays. All in all, a well- planned and beautifully designed game. Just what you'd expect from Astraware! Thanks.

My favorite game(s)!
I have been playing Astraware games since they were writing them fo the PalmOS devices. Graphics are excellent, play is smooth, and I can set the difficulty low enough to teach my grandkids how to play them. I get them hooked using a real deck of cards on the coffee table, then switch them over to Astraware on their phones
Since getting my current phone a couple years ago, I have a streak in Free Cell that is almost 15,000 consecutive wins with no losses. Golden Deck took about 10 days of intense play to achieve. Howard Tomlinson and the gang do an excellent job of adapting all 12 of these Solitaire games to the small screen.

One of my favorite games has sold out
I have played this game a lot. If you want some numbers, I have logged nearly 70 hours into Klondike alone, and I completed the Golden deck a while ago. This game has helped me through hard times, as well. This was the one game I could play when i just needed to get my mind off things. No matter if I had connection or not.
But then this update happened.
The worst part about it is that it's not necessarily on a regeneration system naturally, you have to watch an ad every time you need lives. Which is dumb, especially for solitaire. My average Klondike game length is 1:52, imagine how fast I lose lives.
Or, rather, how fast I would, if I had any motivation to play.
See, I despise games that make you feel like you're making a bad decision playing them. I know the lives don't mean anything really, but knowing that I'm losing opportunities everytime I click deal is tough for me; it doesn't help me get my mind off of things and instead stresses me out more.
In summary, this new system is a waste of time for all involved. Make a new game and monetize off that.
Just don't ruin my solitaire.

Glitchy so bad I lost the whole app!
So I download and play every game and had over 30 gold cards etc... I accidentally bumped the messages button today where it tried to get me to download another app from the developer. It become stuck on that screen. I completely closed the app, and it still was stuck on that page. Rebooted my phone, same. Then thought well I’ll just have to start from scratch on the gold cards :(. So I deleted the app to start from scratch... and now I CANT EVEN DOWNLOAD THE APP! It still says ‘open’ instead of a download prompt! Very glitchy software to a great game! So discouraged and disappointed in the developers but the game is great other than the programming problems. Do not hit messages!

Play Every Night
I play Free Cell and Spider every evening before sleep almost as a form of meditation.
However, after the latest update I can’t play Spider because the cards are too tiny. I miss my game! Hope you’re working on this bug. I play on an iPhone 8 iOS version 14.6.

Great App has been ruined.
I’ve had this app for years and loved it. It started malfunctioning so I had to reload it from the App Store. But what downloaded was awful. First, it wants me to repay for updated version, although they have not changed the game itself. Moreover it is full of ads (ads in a Paid application?) and if you want to reach customer support, it requires you give them personal information first so they can (and I quote) “Select appropriate adverts from Google, Facebook and other partner companies.” Jeez, I think I’ll pass.

Best Solitaire
After trying a dozen different solitaire games on IOS This one is still the best. A recent update caused some problems but was fixed with a update within couple of days. Great support.
