Daily images on APOD app are incredible
My Dad told me about APOD. Rise. Coffee. APOD. I am a huge fan now as well and with my Dad living across the county, its a super way to connect with him even though Im not locally with him, i still know we have APOD that we many times have some very good conversations regarding as he is a retired USAF fighter pilot and has always been very interested in space and everything that we continue to learn, always expanding our mind and explorations of our universe. Fabulous App!

I always wished I could travel through the universe and see all the
Miracles of creation time and space.
Stars, distant galaxies, super novas,
Nebulas and even black holes. Thanks to APOD I get my wish granted everyday. Even better I can go through the archives and see years and years of daily photos at a touch of my finger.

This is such a resonating picture for those of us who were there watching in awe in 1969. Thank you to the late Michael Collins (in retrospect) for the emotions evoked by our brave astronauts returning to their spaceship from the nearby moon surface, with our home planet looking far away and beautiful on the horizon.

Intrusive ads ruin the enjoyment
This would be a great app except for the ads. To make it worse, the ads just insert themselves onto your screen when you are just reading a photo description or looking at a photo.
The video ads are worse due to the obnoxious music they blast you with
I deleted this app because of these issues. It could be a great app, but the ads ruin it. I’ll look elsewhere.
