The Astrowow app provides free daily, weekly, monthly and yearly horoscopes written by astrologer Adrian Ross Duncan. Users can read these on their iPhone, iPad or on the website www.astrowow.com. The app contains descriptions of the 12 signs of the zodiac and explanatory links to videos. It is also possible to make in-app purchases of 4 different kinds of astrology report, which are then provided by email as PDF files. Users may also purchase a monthly subscription, which enables them to see horoscopes for next day, week, month and year. The subscription lasts for one month, at which point it autorenews unless cancelled. The price of the subscription is $1.99 per month and 13.99 per year. I'm a fan of the online page but found the app to be quite buggy.

Impossible to use
Like the online website. But this app does not work properly. Repeatedly shuts down. Creator says it’s due to google maps but even with google maps deleted it still refuses to work.

I like the website but the app crashes after I choose my sun sign. Unfortunate.

Still buggy
When you select monthly or yearly page, you get a spinner in the middle of the page that won't go away. It is fluttering the whole time preventing the page vertical scroll. Also, even with the paid subscription, you see adds at the bottom of the page. Do not get this app. You are better off just reading what you want in the browser itself. I contacted the team, and received no response.

A few bugs but not a bad app
WoW has been a great software on the Windows platform for many years, their reports are top notch. Late to join the Unix/OS-X game, this software needs some bug fixes, and perhaps better, easier to read fonts for smaller phone screens. One of the bugs is when in the “monthly” or “yearly” screens, there is a loop refresh that keeps blinking the spinning gear wheel on the screen forever. I’m not a big fan of the subscription model, but perhaps for more complex reports that could make more sense. There are several of these apps out there, I respect WoW for the great quality they had on the Windows versions. Overtime I think WoW for Mac and iPhones/iPads could become a serious app for those who want more in depth info on this subject. At the same time it has to be easy to use and popular to be profitable, not an easy task.
