App is really dated and clunky. Had all the connection issues that people described. Two things you have to do is first turn off cellular data in the settings for the app. Second the app doesn’t see the SSID from the camera because it isn’t connected so when the screen in the app pops up to connect rename the SSID to the same as the one the camera is transmitting. You can see that in the networks under Wi-Fi in settings. Then after that connect when they app tells you to and it should connect. Good luck! Another note is I can not seem to get parking mode to work. I had the camera wired to continuously have power and it never entered parking mode. So I changed to a switched power source that turns off with the car so I don’t drain the battery. Also the video image is flipped like this was intended for a backup camera. I can not find any setting to fix that in the app. Like I said the app so clunky, missing features and dated.

So if you have just bought this camera return it and buy one with actual app updates and support. I didn’t get around to installing the camera until after the return window and I did no do enough research to see this app in advance. Just avoid it if you can. If you can’t like me it works but it isn’t pretty.

As you may know, auto vox has not been syncing with the updated version of ios., the problem is within the iphones network settings. I fixed mine by manual going in and turning on then off the on the network settings. It will take some playing with but it will work

App is ok but needs a few adjustments, such as downloads of still photos should be selectable rather thank having to download all of them to get one. Also, needs the ability to stream live to Facebook etc. get that and it’s a 5 all day.

Works great for me. I wish the videos could be listed with date and time stamp so there for you dont have to click on every square video to find what your looking for.

I have use this das camera previously with iOS 10 and it worked amazing. Now since I have updated my phone to iOS 11 the camera does not sync at all to my phone. I have tried to delete the app and forget the network device then reinstall it and reconnected and it still does not connect to the application. This is a big inconvenience if you need to save a short video in a snap.

This camera works great! I go off road and this camera captures everything.

It would be very good if the camera had an option to “delete all.” Very annoying to manually select.

To get it to connect under iOS 13.1.2 on my iPhone 11 Pro I had to go to iPhone Settings, then to the specific settings for Auto-Vox then turn off Cellular Data for just that app.

When you view video and download from recorder to the app, both video and audio ok. But when you trim from within app or download to iPhone audio Is lost. This is an issue you need to fix.

I have googled, contacted support, and changed a multitude of settings to get this app to connect with the device. None of which provided a solution. My phone will connect to the Wifi of the device just fine but the app thinks it’s not connected and therefore I cannot retrieve pictures nor video. Avoid any device that uses this app.

The app won't even show me any video or picture taken by the camera! It just says "failed to load"! I mean come on ppl! Can't u really make the app work?? Really disappointed and very frustrated!!!!
And then! What kind of notes are those if the app is not shown in location services? Total fail!
