Skinnyyyyyyyyy,
Great
Simple, intuitive, and exactly what I was looking for. The text recognition works pretty good, I am satisfied with it for sure. If you plan on improving, I would love to see even smarter text recognition, such as when taking a picture of instructions know to list format the text on bullet points or numbers in the picture. Also turning the instructions into steps that I can check off would be awesome.

I’ve been hunting a good app like this for a loooong time. I think my search has concluded!

New updates makes premium worth it
I was a little skeptical to upgrade to premium just for scanning handwritten recipes since the normal detection worked for most of my recipes. With the new upgrade I saw there was a grocery list for premium, so I tried out the monthly to see how it was. I really like the grocery list feature over using reminders (like I was previously). It categorizes everything for you and adds quantities of similar ingredients. Pretty happy with my purchase.

Amazing!!!
I was shopping at my grocery store and the line was taking forever, so I started looking through some magazines they had next to the line. I found a recipe I liked, but the magazine was 6 dollars and I didn’t feel like paying that for one recipe. I figured I could try out this app and I was really impressed with how well it works. I’m planning on taking this with me to B&N and saving all the recipes I like :)

Avoc: The Recipe app everyone needs
Avoc is the recipe app to have. Whether you are digitizing your family’s old recipes(even Grandmas old school writing) or using their hands free coooking feature, Avoc has you covered and keeps your phone from being covered...in flour. It’s a great way to scan or input your recipes in a clean digitized form and seamlessly go shopping with Avoc’s in app grocery list.

Worth 8$ a year
It’s a great way to collect and organize all those recipes you’ve found online! Never lose that killer cookie recipe again. Never fear that some free site is going to demand money from you. Best of all, it’s free of annoying pop up ads that you have to watch before viewing your recipe.
SebXW,
A handy way to compile recipes
A quick and easy way to store my favorite recipes from all my cook books in the house. I look forward to future updates!

I only wish I only needed to take one photo for the numerous fields.
Ya113,
Still has some kinks to work out
The idea of the app is great. I like that you can just take a picture of a recipe and it will fill it in for you however it’s cumbersome to correct errors. It doesn’t put in the ingredients amounts correctly such as 3/4 just has % instead. The formatting of the paragraphs needs some work as it’s difficult to read and making those changes myself Is tedious.
johnny the app reviewer,
Scan Recipes!!!
Finally the app that lets me scan recipes!! It’s the best recipe manager since it scans my recipes and then integrates with my grocery list. Plus it lets me download recipes from websites so I can keep everything in one place
BeetleBay94,
Love this!
Found this from your reddit profile and I absolutely LOVE it! I even subscribed for continued support :) my ONLY disappointment with this app is that, from what I can tell, is not backed up with iCloud and I don’t want to lose all of my recipes!
TopCat1300,
Love it so far.
Question:

How do I generate my grocery list from the recipes I have. Is there a way to do that?

I want to add some/all my ingredients from a particular recipe to my grocery list. How do I do that?
