Update: very confusing and difficult to know what to do next! I still have not finished it and now that I had to get my iPad "redone "I have to start all over again! And now it's telling me I don't even own the game! Gets tiring and don't know if I can continue.

I was a bit disappointed in this game. It was glitchy with placement of inventory and kicked me out several times. I liked the first couple in the series better. This wasn't nearly as long and the bonus chapter was boring and felt too long. It did have elements that were important to gamers, though. Instantaneous loading between locations, good graphics, labeled inventory, and teleport map . However sometimes the map had a task listed and there was no task, so it was a lot of running around. The HO scenes were good, as a lot of them were varied and felt more like puzzles or mini-games. There were a lot of puzzles as well, some great and some not so great! No RATS, always a plus!
All in all, I felt like the game did not flow well and felt a bit tedious to play. Maybe I just wasn't in to it. I usually love fairy tales, but after playing games by MAD HEAD and EIPIX, this game fell a bit short!
Come on team! Don't we want a new Empress and a new 1000 Doors? We need to keep asking BigFish or we won't get them! Those series were far superior to this one, as far as I am concerned! I hope all of my team is well! ❤️💋❤️💋 from Lynxie!

I thought the bonus game was cute with a little girl taking the place of darkmyre. The art is excellent. Some amazingly gorgeous scenes, starting with the sunset on the menu. It can be a bit witchy and dark at times, especially when darkmyre is running around. I used the hints all the time because otherwise you have to keep track of all the places and things to do. Things can be a bit hard to match up and I had to ask the owl what to do. The mini games were good although some of them were without good explanations and I couldn’t do them, even seeing the solution, with the guide. You have an owl to help you and a small dragon to light things up. I paid $2.99 on a big fish games week special. The game calculated I played for a total of 4 hours, which I thought was good length. There are many goals, like not using skips or hints and finding hidden flowers. It could go on for years but it’s not that interesting! Maybe for an expert in these games I guess.

update: all the technicals or fundamentals are good. If you like this series, you should buy it. But...for me...well. I think it's a "me" thing. I just don't love this series. There are sidekicks, and good hint buttons and teleport maps and the dragon and owl are sweet, the graphics and cut scenes are finely done, the voices are good...but there is something about it that just doesn't blow my socks off. The HOPs are typical, and there are mini games. It's a solid game without glitches. It just didn't rock my world. End of update.

Not as good as #4
I was a little disappointed in this game. As an avid fan of the previous five, I was ecstatic when I saw that they had finally put out the sixth in the series, with the promise that Sophia was finally going to be reunited with her parents. Unfortunately, it's quality dropped a few levels. They made some changes to the main setup, which, for me, made it harder to play. The storyline just didn't hold up to the previous games and was over way too quickly. And the bonus game, while cute, left some plot holes and was just way too long.
Spoiler alert: Where's Sophia's husband if she has a daughter? Would've liked that to come into play somewhere...

Excellent The Best so Far 😍😍😍
I love this series and was so excited to see this new addition excellent story amazing graphics great voice overs and map inventory items labeled not very far along but everything is amazing so far no glitches delays or multiple tapping good HOS and puzzles collecting flower stones in this one and we have our little dragon and owl helpers really don't want this series to end. Just purchased without even playing the trial and so worth it. The best so far what a delightful game to play not depressing like the last game offered

Good story line but needs a few teeks
I'm enjoying this game so far. Just when you thought you were going to win a battle, the bad guy gets away and on you go for the next challenge. The only frustration I have experienced in this game thus far is that some of the instructions/clue comments such as when you find a note that pops up with the translation is so quick you might not be able to read all of it before it goes away. A little more time there for slower readers would help a lot .

Another entertaining chapter...
I guess I expect less from this series than others, but I was entertained over about a week of evenings playing this game. I played in Dreadmyre mode without any hints, and there were a few spots where I was stumped and left off till the next night. I suppose if you were playing this straight through, day and night, it would be a quick game. And if you use hints it will be over in no time. I enjoyed it as my annual dopey video game treat of the summer.

BOOM YOU'VE DONE ZAPPED ME!!! BEST EVER!!
On her quest to free her parents Sofia must follow a dangerous path. When her dragon and is shot down by an ogre into a village where the blacksmith lives she needs to make the sword to destroy their enemy she must rescue his son and then travel on to free him from the ogre that took him. Good map and voice overs and of course Owl and the little fire dragon as helpers. Your collecting flower plaques in this one. The very best is the bonus chapter where you meet Sofia's

Awakening
I enjoyed it and actually finished it! I get bored easily towards the end of these games running back and forth over and over. Oh my another locked door Really!!! This one was different. Ready for the next one please. Love the magical fairy tale type with cute little creatures and colorful graphics. I never wanna grow up.....just play all day.
