Ovrlrd,
Intuitive, and powerful
When I first loaded this app, it was almost easy to mistake it for any other habit tracker because of it doesn’t try to overcomplicate the user with too many features. But if you dig deeper, the amount of customization and power sets this app apart from the others.

Pros:
- Clean simple design.
- Lots of customization of your habit list.
- Fast cross device syncing.
- Widgets have lots of options and sizes.
- Can show the live habit timer inside a widget.
- Live activities for habit timers.
- Apps for every Apple device including MacOS.
- Add urls or Apple Shortcuts to habits to quick launch whatever you want.
- Apple Shortcut actions with almost full control over everything in the app.

As an example power feature, you can use quick launch on a habit to launch an Apple Shortcut which marks the habit as complete, and then launches whatever else you want, creating a perfect automation companion for your habits.

Cons:
- The app needs to open for every Apple Shortcut action you launch. I really hope the developer can make this work in the background so Apple Shortcut Personal Automations will work with my phone locked.
- More widget options couldn’t hurt, like having one for a “up next” habit which shows the next goal in your habit list for the day.

As you can see, the cons are extremely minor, this app deserves five stars even despite those. Highly recommend this app if you are looking for a simple yet powerful habit app.
Apeseatfruit,
It’s a great app
I like the interface. Super easy nice options but I wish that tracking was slightly different. I don’t like the out of 100% thing. I would be more interest in a point system. Out of a 100 is so pass fail, but building habits is all about celebrating wins, not trying to maintain a standard. I don’t mind the 100% for today but over time I think it turns into maintenance, which is unfortunate. I know there are a few like that out there but the lack the simplicity of this app. I just think the psychology of this needs to be revisited. Edit: After exploring the app more and speaking with the customer service guys they have a lot of the features I was wanting they are not front and center, which would be my preference, but they are there. I am adding a star for this I will be purchasing the app outright given that this is case and I believe it is well worth your money. Great app.
aquapinkguru,
Yay! Great App!
I just bought the lifetime upgrade. I really appreciate this app. First, I love that it’s an app on all Apple devices. That was my main concern: I wanted to keep up with habits easily on my Apple Watch. I’m glad I do with this and it has many complications. Hopefully more soon. Plus, it’s huge for me to have habits that I do daily versus weekly or monthly. I really appreciate it. I’d like a yearly option as well. Also, it’s nice to look at! I’m happy to log my progress, I’m happy that there is a timer option (so so so helpful). It’s great. Genuinely a good app and I’m happy to pay to keep it for a lifetime! That’s what really sold me. Too many apps force you to pay subscriptions forever, and this developer offers a one-time lifetime fee. I’m really grateful they do, I’m happy to pay it! Will support as much as I can.
AwesomeJawsome,
Definitely the best habit tracker app out there!
I’ve tried a bunch of the popular habit tracking apps out there and their heavy subscription based pricing was not worth the features they provide. This app however is simple and intuitive. It’s not perfect yet, but that’s the case with all apps basically.
The best aspect of this app is that your habits can be tracked through the Apple Watch. The timers can be started and stopped too on your watch. The only other app that had this ability was Streaks (and that app has gone down the bug-ridden hole)
Awesome Habits also has rings that match the apple fitness rings and the waterminder ring as an added aesthetic bonus!
Great app and I recommend this app over their heavily marketed counterparts.
Professional Businessman,
A fairly viable Streaks alternative
Some things it shares with Streaks:

- Just recently, it added the ability to attach a URL to a habit.

Here’s what it has over Streaks right now:

- Unlimited habits. You aren’t limited to 24.

- Habit categorization: via lists, which operate like tags, meaning you can add multiple lists to one habit

- The ability to add units past a goal

- With Streaks, once you get the habit done, that’s it. You can’t, say, add one more hour to a Play Piano habit because you already hit your goal.

- Awesome let’s you add more hours even when you hit your goal, making it more close to Strides in tracking.

- Just recently, it added the ability to attach a description to a habit.

Here’s where it lacks:

- It’s library of Apple Health synced habits is still limited when compared to Streaks. I don’t believe I can sync things like tooth brushing.

- You can only run one timer at once and it must be done while the app is still open. If you exit the screen, the timer will stop.

- Lack of badges. You’ll have to enter the app each time to know how many habits you have yet to complete.

- The only way to filter habits is via lists. You can’t text search them or filter them by status yet.
QinFenggggggg,
A good motivator
I’ve been into tracking my habits for a while now, but I’ve always done it on paper, which has some drawbacks. On the other hand, this app has a number of features that make it easy to see your progress. In the paid version, the app automatically makes a graph of your data for each habit. The layout is visually-appealing, and since I’ve always got my phone on me, it’s much more convenient (and fun!) to log data than on paper.

I do have a suggestion for a future update of the app:
Each habit shows a streak of how many days you have kept up with the habit. I think it would be nice to add in a feature that gives a special message whenever you hit certain milestones, especially for daily goals.
We usually get excited about goals when we first set them, and then after a few weeks the excitement wears off. But I think if every now and then if the app gave me a thumbs up for sticking with a goal for 30 days, 3 months, 6 months etc., that would be even better.

I could also just do it myself on a calendar, but I just thought I’d put the suggestion out there. Great app!

JUST WHAT I NEED IN 2023!
My biggest goal I want to create this year is CREATING HABITS! I've realized after analyzing my productivity is that I want to create habits and keep myself accoutable to the actions in my day that I KNOW will make my life easier and create a better version of myself. This app makes it quick, simple, and seamless to create habits that you want to make and others you want to BREAK! Love that feature also! The WIDGET function of the app is priceless, because let's face it, in my workday as an influencer, model, actor, fitness trainer, online coach, I have ALOT going on and sometimes don't have days where I'm not on my laptop long so the widget being right there for me to access is a GAME-CHANGER! LOVE LOVE LOVE! You should DOWNLOAD it RIGHT NOW!
Beau 72,
Favorite habit tracker app.
I love this app.
I love how it looks and it’s super easy to use . It’s also got a ton of customization options .
Some of my favorite features are the built in timer , and the fact that you can use it to build good habits or break bad ones . Also the fact that you can track by time spent on bad habits instead of being all or nothing where you fail if you do the thing at all .

I also like the fact that you can adjust time manually later if you forget to turn the timer on or off . It was also nice to be able to go back and add the streak I had on meditation before I had purchased the app .

The only thing I’d do different is give more sound options for when you are checking off a habit . Right now I have the sound turned off because I don’t like the default chime .

But that’s a minor thing with all the other things I love about the app. I got the lifetime subscription.
josh_hill,
Great app, but no sync with Apple Watch
I like the app except for one big huge problem which makes it impossible to use - the app does NOT sync with my Apple Watch. It keeps trying to force me to enable iCloud for sync, which I never use, and I will never enable iCloud for privacy reasons, and NO other app on AppStore requires iCloud for Apple Watch syncing - all other apps use Bluetooth to sync data between the phone and the Watch. Maybe the developer should learn to use Bluetooth for syncing data between the iPhone and the Apple Watch instead of forcing users to enable iCloud which is not necessary and not desirable for privacy reasons. I have cancelled my subscription but I will buy the paid subscription back if the developer implements easy normal Bluetooth sync between the phone and the watch. Thank you.
beizho,
love habits!
this is a really clean, well-designed app! i looked at a bunch of apps in this category, but i was sold on this one by both its design and simple pricing model. there's an iOS and Mac version, and both have widgets too, which makes it easy to notice your target goals and log them when completed, all of which syncs across devices without having to create or log in to a separate account. i downloaded this at the start of the new year and it's amazing how many rings i've been able to close every day! a great support for desired behavior changes. i highly recommend it!
