Awsm is a private social media app for families and groups.

We've made some major updates in this version!
• Albums - you can create albums and share them with specific people, and you can swipe through all the posts you've ever saved to an album.
• Dynamic Group posts - you can share a post with a specific group of people without saving them as a named group first.
• FamilySearch integration - you can connect your Awsm profile to your FamilySearch.org profile and easily share text, photo, and audio posts there by using #fs in your caption.
• Increased the size of captions and comments based on user feedback.
• Uploads page - now if a post fails to upload because of a poor internet connection it will be saved in the app and you can upload it later so you don't ever lose a post.
• Tap on the album icon on a post that has been shared to an album to see all the people viewing that album.

Easy to use and meaningful app
This app is a great “social” app that takes all the crap out of social media that most people hate. (Or I hate) You can share meaningful photos or memories with family and friends without random people wanting to follow you. It’s easy to use, even older people who aren’t technologically savvy can use it. (My in-laws use it just fine with a little tutorial when they first got it) I like that I can keep things private by selecting certain people to share with. I can share with specific people like my husband or sisters without having to share with everyone. I feel better sharing things because it is more private and there isn’t the comparison of a typical social media platform. I also forgot to add that it can become a digital diary which I think is great because I haven’t written in a diary in more than 20 years but this app makes it easy to add small things that happened with my children during the day that I want to remember or share with someone in my family or save for myself.

Finally! Social media that strengthens real connections.
I recently took a break from all my social media apps because I’ve become more aware of some of the negative affects on my mood. I love this app for the way it makes connections with friends and family easy, like many platforms do, but with the added features to engage more meaningfully. There’s a real push in my community to save kids, especially, from some of the negative aspects of social media. Here’s an app that I actually want my teen to use. Connect with people you actually know, and get to know them better. It’s great to get meaningful messages from my friends and my “path” becomes a reminder of genuine friends and even insight into how others see their interactions with me.

I recently downloaded this app and have been sharing my pictures, videos and messages with my friends and family. It’s easy and fun!

Not what I had hoped it would be
I cannot get anywhere with this app , i cannot delete my profile pic, none of this makes sense to me , I am deleting this app , i just wish i could get my pic off first
