BabyView Hack 1.0.89 + Redeem Codes

We started using this after our Baby View monitor’s charging port began to malfunction. Since we bought two cameras, we didn’t want to scrap $300+ worth of equipment. Unfortunately, that’s what will likely happen. This app constantly has problems keeping a WiFi connection active, or even connecting to the camera. It’s missing features that the now failed monitor has, such as: temp and humidity information as well as camera pan and tilt functions. 1/5 is generous, and I can’t believe Samsung would support such a lackluster developer performance. Pass on the app, and definitely pass on Samsung as they don’t bother to stand behind their products. Never again.

After owning the Samsung BabyView camera and wireless monitor for a little over a year my wireless monitor stopped charging and periodically loses contact when plugged in, therefore causing it to die even when plugged into an outlet. Samsung says my device is out of warranty so I have to pay to have it fixed. I downloaded this app as an alternative way of viewing my baby, however I found that, that’s all you can do is just view. You don’t have any of the controls as you do on the monitor. You can’t move the camera around to change views or zoom. I’m very disappointed in the quality of this app, I expect more especially coming from such a tech company.

Advanced setting feature is to set up your wifi to the device. It is poorly designed, as it is locked and they offer no help to troubleshoot this feature.
You only have one way to enable camera to work with the app, and it’s with the reset button. If this button does not work, then you are no able to use the advanced setting in the app menu to set up any wifi connection. This is a waste of time, and sad considering it is a pricey product. This is terrible for Samsung standards. I wouldn’t buy this again or recommend anyone to buy if you can’t use the app, to go mobile on your phone.

This app barely ever works(now not at all). It has next to no features and looks like it was designed for the iPhone 4. They are lying to their customers by stating it has this feature because it doesn’t work. It hasn’t been updated in over a year. This is the last Samsung product I buy. They don’t support their customers by making their products work. Just take the money and move on? I won’t support a company that doesn’t support its customers. This is amateur work, not a huge global corporation. Boycotting Samsung forever and spreading the word if this doesn’t get updated.

I tried reviving the camera I have since the monitor died a couple of years ago. I had this stored in my babies closet and though maybe I could re-download the app and get the camera to work. The app is completely useless and the camera never connected to WiFi. This was a gift and wish I had taken it back when it was given to us over 2 years ago. Guess I’ll just throw the camera away along with the useless monitor it came with. Samsung this was a huge disappointment of a product. Not even sure it’s on the market anymore I sure hope not!

I’ve called the tech assist number a few times already and have already sent in the monitor, camera, and sensor for repair (sensor stopped working). If I want to use this app I need to physically reset the camera and uninstall and then reinstall the app and go through the entire installation process to get it to work on my phone. Which only lasts about an hour so basically this app is useless since I need to be home to keep resetting it and it’s only good for an hour after the reinstall. I will NOT be buying another Samsung product. This Samsung monitor, my Samsung microwave, and my Samsung washer all have issues.

I’m one of the rare folks it seems who hasn’t had much issue with getting connected to the Wi-Fi and it’s generally working well. However, I have noticed that my online viewer is frequently indicating 2, instead of 1!!! If I’m the only one accessing my camera over Wi-Fi who else is watching my baby with me?!?! We seem to have issue with getting our password reset to stay...frequently looks like it’s been reset to standard manufacture pw. Scary stuff and making me seriously question using the app any longer. Security updates for the app would be appreciated.

I HATE this App and planning to pack up this system to return it tomorrow!! One of the primary reasons we purchased this system was for the remote viewing over WiFi capabilities and it CONTINUES to say “Connection Failed” after the cameras were properly set up and previously viewable. It won’t even show here in the house moreless elsewhere. Also, when it did work, it was not very clear and had a significant lag when trying to pan or zoom etc. I just HATE when you purchase things that not just under deliver but just don’t work!

Having the same problem as everyone else it seems. App works when it is first set up (on multiple devices) but hours later says “Connect Failed”. Given the multiple complaints here about this issue and no app update in almost a year, I guess we have to accept the company could care less. Calling technical support said we need to send the unit in for repair (and not have a baby monitor for that period of time). We will be exchanging the unit at the store for one that works as advertised.

If I could give this app/product zero stars I would. It has never allowed us to remotely view with the exception of right when we plugged it in and connected it and since then it has never connected. Always says “connection failed” we have reset, removed app, reinstall. You name it we’ve tried it. Even bought a WiFi booster. The in house WiFi mo monitoring works great but the remote viewing was the whole reason we put in our registry. What a disappointment. Plan on taking it back.
