This update fixes the "failure detected - restarting simulator" messages which sometimes occur when location services aren't available. This update also fixes some minor layout issues in the menus, plus the app will now wait until you lower your phone/pad before it offers to load another rocket for you.

With this update the illusion is even more complete with a realistic simulation of outdoor lighting on your rocket! We mathematically modeled the particles in the atmosphere and calculated the colors for the sun and sky throughout the day, then we put that data into Backyard Apollo to give you beautiful twilight views! We’ve also added a new indoor lighting mode and there's a switch to choose which lighting you prefer so your rocket always looks stunningly realistic!

Love this!
Freakin super cool. Love it. Well done and doesn’t harass you with requests for in app purchases!!!! Highly recommend this. What more can I say Apple? It’s awesome. Can you load the send button now ans stop making me text more and more crap to get that to load? Seriously, enough is enough. I have iOS 12.1. Program crashes on startup. “Required sensor failed. Resetting simulator”. It loops with this message over and over. Really disappointed. And I’m also out $2. I was looking forward to this app being an avid Apollo fan.
Thx John for the feedback. The “simulator reset” was unsuccessful, but I figured out the bug. The iPhone location must be turned on in the privacy setting, and this alleviates the issue. Also, the “outside lighting” must be turned off in the app if it’s dark outside. If it’s not in turned off, the app will not work correctly. I hope this helps you with future releases. That being said, I’ll give the app 4 stars. The accuracy of the rocket is really nice, and how you incorporated the AR. Nice Work!

Love the way this looks and sounds. I am disappointed, however, that there is no option for a video recording. The only thing we can do is take a still picture. If we want a video of it, we have to screen record it. Please make the option for recording as well. It would be a shame to waste the effect for future enjoyment. Keep up the good work!

Cool game but mabe needs a another bug fix
This game is awesome but the werid thing is when I am going to start it says world not detectaid resetting simulater so please fix this I don’t know if it is a bug or what but please fix this please and I still enjoy the game don’t forget this.

There is a bug, where it crashes on startup, it freezes, still playing the typing sound, and when I close the app, the sound still happens. Please get rid of this bug.

I love this and I downloaded it half an hour ago, I wish we could have maybe a different rocket like the modern one with the orange tank or whatever but it’s great!

Good game but not very good
I could play this on my iPad for one day and then some days forward when I go on it it just says backyard scannin and then it stops and then it makes a noise and then kicks me out and still continues the noise and then stops at a time good but need some improvements
