Dynamic Overlap - Dynamic Overlap gives users the ability to start music first, and then start the voice intros at just the right moment, resulting in a flexible runway of music both before and after the players voice introduction. Start the music playback as soon as the previous play ends with the PLAY MUSIC button, then wait until the perfect moment when the batter is approaching the plate, and tap the PLAY VOICE button. Let the music continue until the pitcher is about to pitch, then tap STOP. With this setup, we also recommend turning on Soften Music During Voice, and setting the music for a longer duration like 60 seconds. This allows you to start the players walk-up music, and continue playing it through delays such as mound/coach visits, and yet start the voiced intro at the right moment while the music softens. When Dynamic Overlap is turned on for a player, a lightning icon will appear between the voice and music icons to the right of the player. The Dynamic Overlap toggle is located in the Edit Player screen just below the voice/music overlap sliders. When Dynamic Overlap is turned on for the Team Intro of a Pre-Game/Red Team, users can start the music with PLAY MUSIC, then begin the Team Intro when they are ready by tapping PLAY INTRO. After the Team Intro completes, a PLAY NEXT button will appear, giving the user complete control over when to start the introduction of each player, perfectly timing the voice intro for the moment the player takes the field or the court.

- Music Source Icons - A small icon was added at the upper right corner of the Music Note icon that reflects the music source for each player. This allows users or BallparkDJ support staff to quickly identify the source of each players song without visiting the Edit Music screen. A pink Apple reflects that the song is downloaded through an Apple Music subscription. A white/black Apple reflects a purchased iTunes song. A white/black DJ logo reflects the song is a BallparkDJ Clip. And if no icon exists at the top right of the note, then the song is from an External Source.

- Turn Music Audio OFF - A new toggle titled “Turn Music Audio OFF” is now available in the Actions > Team Settings screen. This will turn off music for all players, while retaining the details of the music on all players (such as start, length, overlap with voice and relative volume). - Sharing Team Check – when sharing, ordering, or backing up a team, we check to see if the team has a more recent version on the server and provide options
- Soften Music on Pre-Game Team - When the "Soften Music During Voice" is turned on for the Team Intro player of a red/pre-game team, that Soften Music settings is now retained and honored throughout the playback of all the players during the continuous playback.
- Default Music Length of 20 Seconds - The default duration/length of music when selecting a new song for a player is now 20 seconds. In the past, the default length was of 9 or 10 seconds. Selecting the longer duration is generally preferred as it allows the user to play the music longer when appropriate, but always presents the big STOP button to stop the music when needed (and fading out).
- Soften Music Persists When Sharing - The "Soften Music During Voice" option is now persistent when sharing a team. In previous versions, the Soften Music would not be shared and would always be turned off for all players on the recipient's end. Both the sharer and the recipient must be on version 17.5 or later in order for the Soften Music option to be properly reflected when sharing.
- QuickPlay - SuperVoice just got even better with the introduction of QuickPlay. QuickPlay is available on gold/SuperVoice teams and is designed to expedite the playback sequence of SuperVoice by repeating the playback choices of the prior player. If QuickPlay is turned on and setup with Event "Now Batting", then "Now Batting" will be used automatically for the next player without presenting the list of events. QuickPlay also reflects the other previous SuperVoice choices such as "Include Team Name" and "No Music". To edit the Event and other choices of QuickPlay, simply tap on the Event displayed at the bottom of the list of players (just above the Actions menu). To override QuickPlay for a single player (while leaving QuickPlay choices in place), simply long-tap on a player and the SuperVoice Events and other choices will be presented just as in SinglePlay. QuickPlay is turned on by clicking on the Single Play / Cont Play button at the bottom right of the team. When QuickPlay is turned on, you will see QuickPlay in the bottom right of screen highlighted in green.
- Team Backup - You may now be prompted to backup your teams to the server to ensure the latest version of your teams will be recoverable when moving to another device. The backup message will read “Your team has changes that have not been backed up to our server. Would you like to back up your team now?” This backup prompt will only appear for teams that are owned by you, which means they were created by you and are associated with the email you used with BallparkDJ. The prompts will occur if it has been more than a week since you last backed up your team, AND only if BallparkDJ detects you have made any changes to your team. Changes to your team would include adding players, editing player details such as song or overlap, or even changing song details such as start time or duration.
- Share to Support - We have added a convenient way for users to easily share their team with BallparkDJ Support while including all the relevant information Support might need to diagnose issues, including App Version, iOS Version, Song Diagnostics, and more. When choosing Actions > Share Team, a new "Send to Support" option is now available (in red). This option will compose an email addressed to
[email protected]. If you have any additional details you would like to share, such as the support ticket that prompted this sharing if applicable, please type those in at the top of the email prior to sending.

----------------------------------------------------
- Fade In Music - A new "Fade In Music" option has been added to the Edit Music screen. This option mirrors the Fade Out Music option, easing into the volume as the music starts. This feature is especially useful when beginning the song anywhere other than the very start of the song. The music will fade in over a 2 second period. This feature requires the music to be setup to start at least 1 second before the voicing.
- Player Photo During Playback - A new option to "Show Player Photo" is available in Actions > Team Settings. When this is turned on, the player photo, if available, will be shown during playback of the players intro. Team Photos can be attached to players in the upper left corner of the Edit Player screen (accessible by clicking on the mic/note icons to the right of each player).
- Random Shuffle Playback - A new "Random Shuffle" option is now available in Actions > Advanced > Sort Team. When Random Shuffle is turned on, the players will be played in random order during Continuous Play. This feature will be especially useful for teams setup to play entire songs for pre-game and between inning music. Such teams can now be setup easily with the Import From Playlist/Album feature in the Actions > Advanced Menu.
- Show App Version in Title Bar - The app version is now displayed to the right of the BallparkDJ logo in the title/navigation bar at top of each screen. The version will show up in black and white when the app is up to date with the latest version, and it will show in red when there is a more recent version of BallparkDJ on the App Store.
- Play/Stop Button Improvements - The Play/Stop buttons in the Edit Player screen were improved and redesigned. The play button with both the mic and note icons will play the voice and music together, the play button with the mic plays just the voice, and the play button with the note plays just the music. These buttons change to STOP buttons during playback.
- Cont Play Full Song Issue - Fixed an issue that was preventing songs from playing during playback of teams setup on Continuous Play, with songs from Apple Music set to Play Full Song.

- Dark/Light Color Theme Mode - BallparkDJ will now has a Dark Mode color theme option in Actions > System settings. Options include Auto, Light, and Dark. When Auto is selected, the color theme will reflect the color them of the phone/iOS in Settings > Display & Brightness. If their Light or Dark mode is selected, that mode will be used regardless of the settings of the phone. Dark Mode not only looks cool, but it's easy on the eyes and saves battery life. Learn Mode: ttps://www.ballparkdj.com/dark-mode
- Long Read - The Order Page now provides a Long Read option for Order Type, in addition to Standard, SuperVoice, and Pregame. The Long Read order type should be used for longer / customized reads that do not fit the standard single player introduction format, such as customized sportsmanship reads. Long Read orders are priced at $0.05 per character, with a minimum price of $8.00. Learn More: https://www.ballparkdj.com/long-read
- 2-Tap Pre-Loading - We have improved the 2-Tap process to help reduce and minimize the playback delay when tapping the play button. After tapping the player, BallparkDJ immediately begins doing any work it possibly can (such as pre-loading the music and applying Voice Effects) so that once the PLAY button is tapped with the 2nd tap, everything is ready to go and the delay from that point is minimized. The PLAY button will show a "Loading" message at the bottom right while the pre-loading process is active. 2-Tap mode now has the advantages of preventing accidental taps, confirmation of proper selection, eliminating clipping of intros (by waking up speaker), and now minimizing the delay during playback.
