Baseball Radar Gun uses color coding for easy identification of your speed. The entire user interface will change in color according to the speed of your throw.
Pitch speeds and colors:
► 76 Over Red - Watch out, the ball is about to go supersonic! That's a powerful shot!
► 61-75 Orange - Fast! People would do well to get out of your way when you have a ball in your hand.
► 51-60 Yellow - pretty darn good! Your pitch is pretty fast, that's quite the arm you have there!
► 41-50 Green - the speed of your throw is pretty average; although it can be improved, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
► 00-40 Blue - indicating a slow pitch; that's okay, everybody has their off days.
How it works
Baseball Radar Gun uses a really simple method to accurately calculate the pitch speed. Simply press Start when the ball leaves the pitcher's hand, and press Stop when you see the ball land in the catcher's hand. This method of pitch speed calculation allows Baseball Radar Gun to be used on any phone, regardless of its age or camera quality. Also, it makes the pitch calculator very easy to use.

Good app and easy to use, but needs a few important options.
Purchased to measure my son's pitches during games and lessons, but there is one crucial detail missing. The app allows for three settings to determine distance from the mound to the catcher: little league, majors, and softball. However, the little league setting does not give any options for distance specific to age group. The setting does not state if it is for 40', 50', 54', etc. This certainly will make a difference in calculating pitch speed. If this is fixed then it will be a great app.

My go to app
This app blows all the other baseball radar gun apps out of the water. It gives me the most accurate and consistent reading once you get the timing down.

Closest to the real radar gun
Once you get the timing down, it gets fairly close to the reading I got from the radar gun I bought from eBay. Kudo to the developer.

Amazing user interface
I have tried pretty much all baseball radar app out there. This is by far the highest quality. The kids absolutely love it!

Not what you think it is
This is the same old "start stop" radar. Prettier than most. But only as accurate as your fingers and eyes can coordinate the button. Why they get to call these "radars" is beyond me.

Baseball Radar Gun
My pitch is about 67-73 during warm up and 57-63 during games. The app shows an average 89 during warm up and 65 in games.

This is not radar is a "click-click" stop watch! Way to many variables to be even close to being accurate!
