So I just did my first workout here last week — they had a free session promo) and immediately signed up for the unlimited classes membership! I consider myself relatively active (try to do something everyday to keep my body moving) —- and this is the PERFECT DOSE OF ENERGY, SWEAT, FUN, and PUSH I need to maximize my day! Love the fact that workouts are only 35 minutes — I used to go to the gym and be there for 75 min on average and not feel nearly as good as I do after every Basecamp Fitness workout! Personal Trainer, in group setting
One of the many reasons I absolutely LOVE Basecamp is that each and every workout you get a personal training experience while in a group setting.
The constant reminders on posture, the examples on how to and what muscles you should be engaging. Also several tips from lift your toes in a squat, keep your knees in on the bicycle, chin up while doing push-ups. All these things help make the difference in a work out.
I went from knowing how to work out, but not doing the small things during a workout. To being able to do my workout more effectively.
I saved my favorite part for the end. The trainers, and community are just what I needed to change my life around. I highly recommend checking out Basecamp wherever you are. These folks are a different kind of special and I guarantee you won’t regret your choice to giving it a try.

Best Gym I’ve belonged to!
This place is amazing. Workouts are challenging but not impossible. It may look or sound intimidating but people of all fitness levels are welcome and modifications are encouraged whenever needed. There’s no pressure, no judgement. For advanced members, I’ve worked out since high school football, I’m now 42 and also served 8 years in the Army—these workouts are exactly what you make them/put into them. With that said, they are far more challenging than basic training. If you push yourself they are/can be even more challenging than Beachbody Insanity but way more fun! They seriously fly by! There is a sense of camaraderie amongst members & everyone roots for each other—it’s very motivating. The trainers are amazing, very energetic, reputable & charismatic. If you’re on the fence, climb over and join right now!!

Addicting!!
When I first heard about Basecamp, I thought “how in the world does that work?” But decided to give it a try. Best decision and reference!! So addicting! I find myself anticipating what the next workout will be like! The workouts are so fun while also killer! I love how you have a tv screen to see what your next move is, as you pedal on the assault bike, as well as a coach explaining the next movements. The coaches are also so encouraging! They give high fives, fist bumps, a smile, some “whoop whoop”, and claps as they push you to be the best version of yourself. They really set the atmosphere! I hate my time there is coming to an end as we are about to move. I so wish there was a Basecamp in Athens, GA!! Thank you to the creators of Basecamp! Y’all are doing it. 💙

Overall nice app to book classes
There’s a couple of great features in the ability to book a class from the app. I assume if you have a fitness watch, there would be a lot more benefits to tracking your progress and your stats within the Basecamp app. Most annoying part is that you can’t cancel and pick a new class if you schedule changes day of. You have to call or text the physical location to change your class schedule day of, even if you just want to move your scheduled class up or back an hour and there are open available spots in the class you want to select. There is also no integration to track your previous classes unless you have a smart watch. It would be great to see the history of classes attended without the need for a smart watch.

Fun and energizing
I didn’t know what to expect when I walked in.
I was greeted with much respect and enthusiasm. After two years of being sedentary (I blame it on the pandemic) I jumped into a trial 30 day membership.
I am so glad I did. I can’t remember the last time I felt so energized and proud of myself. The workouts are fun and do not get boring. The staff members are incredible. The pace of the workouts leaves no time for me to feel uncomfortable. The app is so detailed and descriptive and I love that it connects to my Apple Watch.
I look forward to my Core and Cardio class in an hour! (And I hate cardio!)

My husband and I have been going for one year now and have been so happy with choosing Basecamp for our health journey. It’s been the best gym we’ve been to. The coaches are incredible and care about you and reaching your health goals. They will coach you through each exercise and correct your form which I really appreciate! It’s a fun and quick workout, great music and community. I love how everyday is different and I truly feel the best I’ve felt in years. So grateful to be a part of this gym and I look forward to it everyday!

Best workout for non runners
I hate running and this is a great class for people like me. They also post their weekly schedules every Sunday so you can plan your week around whatever they are focusing on unlike many other places like Orangetheory.

It’s only 45 min class and you make it as hard/easy as you want. No one pressuring you to do anything other than your own competitive nature.

Every other week, every day focuses on a different muscle group and the other weeks are full body workouts that are catered to specific methods.

I have lost a lot of weight using Noom. After losing weight I needed to do something that could help me with sagging skin and just walking the dog didn’t quite do a lot for me. I joined Basecamp after our son in law joined, then our daughter joined and then they got me to join. I have a great time with the different things that they have us do, I can now lift heavier weights and the other members that are going through the same things makes it so much better doing it together with great coaches.

My favorite class gym!
I always liked to run and I hurt my knee and I found Basecamp I really love their program and all of their classes as well as all of the instructors! Are used to go to the location in west Hollywood and now that Cove it is over I go to the one in Santa Monica both locations are great I believe they only have Santa Monica and Pasadena now I will always love going to these classes and such and great work out that goes by so quickly and really jump starts your whole day
