'Battle for Cattle' is a fun game where you learn everything about diseases, treatment, bacteria and viruses. In the game, the player is confronted with sick farm animals and the problem of antibiotics overuse. The player experiences an increase in antibiotic resistance and learns about the importance and principles of vaccines. The player has to save the lives of cows on a farm and take control over the design of a synthetic biology vaccine.
The game is inspired by and part of a real synthetic biology research project funded by the EU, MycoSynVac (https://www.mycosynvac.eu).

Hard to toggle interface
Cool concept but the interface of this game leaves something to be desired. It is difficult to open and close the drone menu without ending up in the wrong place and the vaccines menu I can’t open and close quick enough to actually save the cows because it’s so easy to close by mistake. Would love to see some of that reworked because the concept really is quite neat.

Great idea but some bugs
Hey I work in a vet vaccine clinic and I was so glad when I found out about this game. I’ve tried playing through but for some reason it will suddenly glitch and say game over all your cows are dead when not one has died yet. But so far the game seems great! I hope this gets resolved quickly so I can start telling people about it

Educating
This game offers good and quick education from the introduction to antibiotics and creation of vaccines using synthetic biology. One tips to add, it was a bit overwhelming at the beginning as the game is kinda pace up really fast. Maybe a bit of warmup or tutorial level? The game overall, is good

UI is horrible, but game is great
The game is really fun conceptually, the jokes and cast are great. The UI isn't intuitive, though. During the intro I had to restart several times because the cattle would die before I got through the tutorial. It would be nice not to have to drag the cotton swab from the storage button and just swipe it along the screen when it's toggled.
