Legohax,
Great game!
Very fun side scroller. Unfortunately I am unable to beat the game due to a bug. I get to the end of level 7 (the first zombie and skeleton level with the me romance), and it just sits there. The level never ends for me, so I cannot get to level 8. This has happened al three times I tried to get past the level. Still gave it 4 stars because I see no other reviewers with this problem, maybe it's just me?
BattleMager70,
Great Game
I have been looking for an rpg game like this for awhile and finally it’s here! It is incredible how great the game is for a one man developer. Thanks for making this game. It is my favorite game!
Jessh06,
Awesome Game!
Fun and challenging and has lots of skills and spells to unlock! Pretty impressive quality for a one man game developer.
Lilfishy5689,
Not much to see here
Apparently made by one person, which is nice, but the game doesn't have much to offer. Decent artwork, but no creative storyline whatsoever and repetitive, clunky gameplay.
Persona2345,
Instant ads
Before even playing the game I got an ad. I'm all for ads in free games, but at least let me play some and get used to the game before you ad spam me. I don't want ads before I have even seen an opening cut scene.
Randomthts,
Sadly I can’t select zero stars
This game has the depth of a flash game from the early 2000s, and it serves an unstoppable ad at the beginning of every level. Playing the game is almost as painful as watching the same ads.
Crlaozwyn,
A train wreck, made with love
Update: got an email from the dev, thanking me for the feedback. Adding a star because I expect the game to improve over time. I'm leaving the game installed and will update my review when a new version is released.

Original review:
I hate leaving a bad review for an Indy developer, but this game was painful to play. It's clear that a lot of time and effort went into it but it's glaring flaws make it unplayable.

For example, the each set of three levels consist of the same three enemies recycled endlessly. At the end of the third stage, you encounter a boss. Here's where the game lost me completely. The first boss has two attacks: the first has him stomping with icicles falling from the ceiling. Cool! Except there's not enough time to dodge them even if you're already on the move, meaning survival is entirely RNG based. In one of my several attempts, I had the boss to 20% health, when four icicles fell on me simultaneously which resulted in death from 50% hp. The other attack is a roll, which takes him from one side of the screen to the other. Slow, cumbersome, and you have to wait for him to walk back on screen. Plus he's invincible while rolling. I once waiting two min for an actual chance to damage the boss.

The reason for your star rating on a level is not defined. I get through a stage with no damage, killing every mob I see, rescuing every villager, and get two stars. Why?

Put it all together and, while it could have been fun, it's just not ready to be played beyond friends and family yet. I'll be watching for updated versions and hoping.
artfoundry,
Potential but could be a lot better
The basic game mechanics are good, but the game needs a good amount of polish to really be entertaining. Characters feel too thin and aiming is too hard because you have to be lined up just right with the enemy. Graphics, while clean and decent, are pretty plain. Levels are really long with no indication as to how far along you are. And no waypoints, so if you die, you need to restart the level from the beginning (at least, as far as I can tell since, as mentioned, there's no progress indicator). Menu animations are slow - speed up those scrolls or get rid of them.
Ghastly13,
The side scrolling action rpg to buy!
I can't believe I let this sit on my wishlist for so long. To those who complain about the controls, you must not be familiar with this type of game. The controls are fine but hitting enemies depends on accuracy, just imagine that the screen is divided into invisible "lanes" you must be in the same lane as the enemies to make your shot. Hopes that helps!
Quinn802,
Lots of Fun!
This is a great game! The only issue I have found is that you have to be directly in line with your target for spells to hit them. I spend more time lining up my character than I would like, which is sometimes more difficult than expected. Otherwise, it is a fun, engaging game!
