What happened
I love playing this game because there are clubs where u meet really nice ppl. That being said there have been so many issues. Starting with the months that customer support would never respond to ppl. We couldn’t get the FB gifts at all. Well they finally fixed that & it seemed to be good for awhile. Then it seems like every time there’s an update they pull something where they limit the bingos you get credit for. This update so far is just another annoyance. Now it costs more tokens & barely get any bingos. Now the one good thing I can say is there have been times that an error or crash has happened & support emailed w/ me & gave me what I lost or made up for the lost things. But I know how much they have to be making off us. Each season Pass (which only lasts a month) is $20 per person. Then there’s the extras like pink tickets, etc. And no you technically don’t have to buy anything. If you don’t pay it’s not very fun to play. Which is fine to a point. I’ve came thisclose to quitting several times. The only reason I stay is the friends. If you don’t have help from others it’s almost impossible to get anywhere. And you don’t get ahead unless you aggressively trade, barter, beg. This is supposed to be fun & relaxing. And overall it is a lot of fun & has great storylines. But maybe ease up on screwing over your customer base.

Bingo Fun!
Update: ok so I am down to a three star. Since the last app update, I literally have to turn my phone off for at least a minute to allow the app to refresh and reset. I have to do this a few times a day. It’s pretty annoying but it doesn’t stop me from playing. I have to admit that it is pretty hard to get a club ball collection. This is where you get points. I have only been able to ever get one collection within the time constraints. Also, there was one time I got a message from the app company rewarding me for coming in first but it didn’t say in what category. I’m still confused as to what I did and I haven’t been able to do this since.

Outrageous costs
Adding that Clipwire hasn’t responded to 4 reported crashes/game freezes in 3 days. No reimbursement for losses! These issues are occurring daily and Clipwire has done absolutely NOTHING to correct the programming errors. It’s been happening for well over 10 months!!! I’d bet this review isn’t even posted cuz it’s negative and they manage to ‘lose’ negative reviews!!! Besides the exorbitant increase in cost and totally poor support responses it was a fun game. I‘ve been playing for over 2years and my patronage to their game means nothing! Save your money people! Find a different bingo game that actually cares about its players. They say they want your ideas on how to improve the game but they are only paying lip service!!! Clip wire increased cost to play 200% and took away the one free game that helped players to complete puzzles and bingo pass missions. They have throttled the game rewards so you can only win a specific amount no matter what you spend! Also the game crashes, 99% of the time when game rewards are being given. Poor response from support causing me to loss credits and powerups daily! Then IF they reimburse your loss it’s only a portion of what you actually lost. If you are willing to pay a lot of money, you will make ‘some’ progress in the game, but if you compare what you lose to what you paid you will see you have been robbed by clip wires greedy business practices!

Fun, but pricey!
I really do WANT to give this game 5 stars and would happily return to update my review to do that if issues presented here were actually addressed. I’ve been playing this game for quite a while, have lots of fun, and have been fortunate enough to even win some first place awards. Aside from that though I have to agree with sentiments that are repeated often in reviews here. Club play is next to impossible. I’ve noticed that club balls regularly come up with numbers I need for a bingo but they never get daubed. What’s up with that? I also hate that you can never complete collections because the game chooses to give you duplicates instead of letting you win the collection. I have made more purchases than I should have. What I’ll say about that is Bingo Story can be quite pricey if you get swept up in the passion of the game, but the return for your purchases is peanuts for pearls. Highway robbery! I agree that you pretty much have to be playing this game 24/7 to achieve anything. Kudos for the graphics. I’d like to see an auto daub boost as when it gets near the end of the game I find it difficult toggling back and forth between screens fast enough and wind up missing out on bingos, power ups, and boosts. This has all the elements of a great game and could easily become the favorite of bingo players if the issues that get repeated in reviews often were addresses.

Crashes often. Lost many purchased items= Losing real $$!
I honestly do enjoy playing this game, and I never complain about things like this. I work in consumer affairs and have a history of restaurant management, so I get what it’s like to work in customer service. Unfortunately it crashes all of the time. During these crashes, all of the items used in a game or lost. I used to receive the items back when I would load back into the app, however that seems to no longer be the case. It’s like that feature is just gone, possibly in an update. I have spent actual money on power ups and bingo tokens so many times just to have them lost in one of the inevitable unbelievably frequent crashes. Finally I was so fed up that I contacted support, and received a response that I should try to delete the app and re-download. Of course, I had done that a million times at that point. So it was insulting to have such a lack of concern from support for the fact that money spent is just being taken away in these crashes. I wasn’t expecting anything really in return, but I was told they were going to investigate the crashes and provided them with the exact time frames of when the crashes occurred and items were lost as requested. A response of delete and reinstall the app was ridiculous to me. Low rating because of the crashes.

Love game , but ....
I absolutely love this game . As a matter of fact this is the 1st game I’ve ever made a power up purchase for . That being said , I’m very sad that we make tons of friends, but the only gifts we can send ie pu tickets and others we can only send to Facebook friends! It’s quite difficult to finish any puzzles unless you play all day and night . The tournaments also you have to play all day and night to get anywhere . In the club room you can’t get the collection, because you get same items , it’s difficult enough without getting same items . It’s very very difficult to chat with friends ! You have to use the mailbox. I have played 3 games that have just kept going past the last bingo , I’ve lost tickets club balls and power ups because of this . I’ve contacted support and they say more information is needed ! What am I supposed to do keep a journal. Like I said this game is really really fun , but some CHANGES need to be made . Especially if you legitimately win and they won’t do anything except say more information is needed omg it just happened again! I won a chest and a bingo and they’re now saying I need an internet connection! How the heck do they think I’ve been playing! Ugh as much as I reall like the game I’m going to have to get rid of it ,!!

Lots of current players are complaining directly to Clipwire in the app. That’s not working. We need to warn new players to prevent them from downloading this app. Buyer beware. You will easily spend $1,000 a month playing this game if you actually want to have fun and compete for individual and team prizes. There are benefits for advancing in the game but the cost to do so will darn near break you. Most people do not have discretionary income to spend $1,000 a month on something as non-essential as an online game. However, you may have a few bucks to splurge on things you enjoy. I personally like playing online games. Clipwire has managed to successfully ruin what used to be a pretty decent game and a whole lotta fun! We don’t enjoy it any longer. There are many games that would bring you the fun you’re looking for without breaking your bank. We keep hoping there will be changes but to no avail. I’ve been playing for a year and I’m spending more money now than ever before. Spend what you want but at least there should be a fair return on your investment. I’m not some grumpy person always writing complaints. This is actually my first one. Do better Clipwire! Think of your paying customers and stop all this nonsensical greed!!!

Idiotic business management
When I began playing this game I loved it. The longer I play it tho I found that this company regularly makes “updates” that make it harder and harder to progress in the game. If you want to have any forward movement you HAVE to spend money. I actually enjoyed the game so much that I did start spending money. But every time u buy a package they no longer offer u that package at the same price. If u want to buy pretty much the same thing, or many times even less inventory is offered, the price is doubled! I will be boycotting with the rest of the clubs until either clipwire fixes their crap, or I find something else to do with all my free time. I used to recommend the game to all my family and friends, but now if someone hasn’t started playing I tell them DONT BOTHER! Not unless you are ok spending HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS EVERY MONTH and getting less and less FOR EVERY DOLLAR YOU SPEND.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
This game USED to be fun, but now it is more like a job. You can’t succeed without buying anything. Before you could pay 4500 pink tickets for power ups. Now you can buy 5 free daubs with 1500 pink tickets or 5 double daubs for 5000 pink tickets with a cap of only 5 per day for each. You go through 5 of those in ONE game! You can also get ONE mini game daub for 10,000 pink tickets. They are basically forcing you to purchase with MONEY power up packs. There is no way to do well in this game without power ups. I have yet to fully complete an event and I have purchased items with money. It is almost impossible to get the 4/5/6 star items you need for the room you work on, but don’t worry you will get the 4/5/6 star items for rooms you just finished. I have asked about this and they said those are harder items to get. I understand that, but I have tracked this and after you complete a room you are 4 times as likely to get those harder items for the previous rooms than the room you are working on. The only reason I have stayed and played is because the team I play on. I enjoy chatting with them and competing together. This was supposed to be something for FUN, but it isn’t anymore. If you are thinking of downloading this game because they say it is free, DON’T.

UPDATE KILLS THE GAME!
I loved playing this game before the most recent update. I met some great people in my club and the competition was really good. Then the developers decided to update the program and it completely froze my game! I’ve missed completing several events because time ran out while I unsuccessfully kept contacting support. Support does NOT answer! It’s been ALMOST THREE DAYS and I have YET to hear from SUPPORT, outside of automated messages saying they’re looking into it. I can’t get my free Bingo tokens, can’t compete in the club ball calls, (notice MULTIPLE) can’t collect or trade cps, can’t message, NOTHING. I spent a lot of time and effort in almost reaching the end of Peters Pixie dust event and then, BAM! UPDATED AND OUT OF THE GAME! Now it’s too late since the event is closed. The game is effectively dead and unclickable, and after 5 or more support requests, still no response! Imagine how many bingo tokens, freebies, cps, bingo balls, event progress and designer points I’ve been robbed of in three days! I’m not the only one in my club locked out either. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling on multiple systems and devices. This is the last straw. I will update feedback WHEN AND IF SUPPORT FIXES THE PROBLEMS! And I have contacted you by email multiple times, so please don’t act like that’s even an option!
